| Josh Jacobs not expected to play|
Skin infection, shoulder injury

|Source: #Raiders RB Josh Jacobs, who is dealing with a skin infection and a shoulder injury, is not expected to play on Sunday. In their improbable race to qualify for the playoffs, sounds like Jacobs is unlikely to join them. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Raiders still have an outside chance at the playoffs so they have motivation to put forth their best effort against the Broncos. Expect DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard to handle the running back duties with Washington being the lead back. The Broncos have allowed just 7 rushing touchdowns all year.

|#Raiders coach Jon Gruden told reporters that Pro Bowl OT Trent Brown is headed to Injured Reserve and that RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) will be out vs the #Chargers. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Jacobs has been battling a shoulder injury for some time now and will miss Week 16. Gruden noted he hoped to have Jacobs back for Week 17 but it wouldn't make a lot of sense play the rookie in a meaningless game. DeAndre Washington becomes a viable RB2 play against the Chargers.
| Josh Jacobs expected to play|
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Dec 15, 7:15 am
|#Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) was clear earlier in the week on Twitter that he plans to play today despite a broken shoulder plate, and that is the case. He’s good to go. Meanwhile, LT Trent Brown (pectoral) is a game-time decision. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Jacobs sat out last week as he battles his shoulder injury but gets a great matchup this week against a Jaguars team that's thrown in the towel. The Jags have given up the fourth most PPR points to running backs this season.
| Josh Jacobs listed as Questionable|
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 13, 4:00 pm
|Josh Jacobs is feeling “alright” and is going to try his best to play. Putting the sweatshirt on was a little bit of a struggle though. Jacobs said he won’t need surgery but will have to rest his shoulder for a month after the season. (Vic Tafur on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Jacobs said he plans to play but his status remains up in the for a Week 15 matchup against the Jaguars. If he sits, DeAndre Washington would become an appetizing option against a Jacksonville team that's throw in the towel.

MRI on shoulder came back clean
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Wed Dec 11, 12:13 pm
|#Raiders RB Josh Jacobs underwent an MRI on his ailing shoulder after not playing on Sunday. But the scans checked out very positively, sources say, and Jacobs is expected to return to the field this week. Barring a setback, should be just a one-week absence. UPDATE: Raiders coach Jon Gruden did add that Jacobs' positive MRI results don't guarantee he'll play Week 15 against the Jaguars. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: DeAndre Washington was the lead back for the Raiders last week against the Titans but it sounds like Jacobs will back at it this week against the Jaguars. Jacksonville is playing they can't wait for the off-season to get here, making Jacobs an interesting RB2 play in Week 15 if he suits up.
| Josh Jacobs a gametime decision|
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Dec 8, 7:15 am
|#Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder), who is trying to play through a broken shoulder plate, is a true game-time decision, source say. No guaranteed he can play today, thought he’s trying. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Raiders kick off later this afternoon making it tough on fantasy owners wanting to play Jacobs in their lineups. A mixture of DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard would carry the load at running back for the Raiders if Jacobs sits.

Didn't do much at practice Friday
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 6, 3:20 pm
|Gruden said Josh Jacobs didn’t do much in practice today, his only workout of the week. We’ll see more Washington, Richard and even some more Ingold if Jacobs can’t go. (Scott Blair on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Jacobs has been playing with a shoulder injury for a few weeks now, but after two crushing defeats it may be time for the Raiders to take a more long-term view for their rookie running back. If Jacobs hits the Inactive list on Sunday, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard would handle the running back duties against the Titans.
| Josh Jacobs sidelined again Thursday|
Consecutive DNPs to begin the week
By: Doug Orth | Thu Dec 5, 10:00 pm
|No sign of RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) or RT Trent Brown (pectoral) at start of Raiders practice today. (ESPN - Paul Gutierrez)|
FFToday's Take: Jacobs has been limited in practice for weeks, but it's fair to wonder if Oakland is going to scale back his workload a bit or give him a week or two off. He told reporters Wednesday he's been playing through a fractured shoulder since Week 7. With the Raiders' season suddenly headed in the wrong direction, picking up DeAndre Washington and/or Jalen Richard could be a savvy move.
