|Pollard played well in a reserve role and chance of pace back for the Cowboys last season, with five total touchdowns and over 600 total yards.
Zeke Elliott continues to be the lead dog and will get the majority of carries for head coach Mike McCarthy and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. But don't sleep on Pollard late in drafts, as he proved last year he is deserving of touches in the offense even when Zeke is healthy, and he is a possible league-winner should Zeke go down.

Sat out season finale to rest foot injury
By: Doug Orth | Tue Jan 11, 1:45 am
|Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said on @1053thefan that he feels great about RB Tony Pollard’s availability for Sunday’s playoff game against the 49ers: “Absolutely. He’ll be ready to roll.” Pollard (foot) didn’t play Saturday. (The Athletic - Jon Machota)|
FFToday's Take: Pollard's return takes on slightly less importance with Ezekiel Elliott looking more like himself of late. With that said, Dallas will definitely welcome his explosiveness against the 49ers. Pollard's weekly floor has been about 10 touches and could range higher than that in any game where the Cowboys find themselves in negative game script. That could easily happen this weekend, making Pollard a worthwhile ceiling play in DFS.
| Tony Pollard expected to play, may be limited|

|Cowboys’ running back Tony Pollard, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a foot injury, is expected to play vs. the Giants but Dallas could have a slightly more cautious approach with him due to the injury, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Pollard's foot injury isn't going away anytime soon which makes him hard to trust as a Flex option. Ezekiel Elliott isn't on the injury report but is still obviously bothered by his knee injury which he will wear a brace for. The Cowboys backfield are uncomfortable Flex plays in Week 15 against the Giants.

Suffered torn plantar fascia in Week 13
By: Doug Orth | Fri Dec 10, 3:00 am
|Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (foot) says he tore his left plantar fascia during 58-yard TD run vs. Saints. Resulted in less fourth-quarter work. “It’s really going to be a game-time decision” Sunday at Washington.
Pollard said he still feels pain from his tear. “They say once you tear it, it actually heals better, and you don’t feel it as much. I’m waiting until I get to that point.” Not there yet. (Michael Gehlken on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The 1-2 punch of Ezekiel Elliott (knee) and Pollard has been one of the best in the league for most of the season, but now both players are dealing with injuries that figure to hamper them for the rest of the season. Corey Clement is the next back on the depth chart and could have some scant fantasy value if one of the first two needs to miss some game time, but the most obvious answer moving forward is for the Cowboys to rely more heavily on the passing game.
