Seahawks downgrade Carson, Hyde to Out Alex Collins elevated from practice squad By: Mike Krueger | Sat Nov 14, 4:11 pm

| | Seahawks downgraded running backs Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde to out for Sunday’s game vs. Rams. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: We're getting more clarity on the Seattle running game which is good news for fantasy owners. We can expect DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer to handle the bulk of the running back duties against the Rams with Alex Collins mixing in as well. This is largely a situation to avoid with Dallas being the most fantasy viable if you must play one from this group.

| Carlos Hyde practices Friday, Carson questionable Muddy RB mix in Seattle By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 13, 4:30 pm

| | 8 other players are questionable, including RBs Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde and CB Quinton Dunbar. Others questionable are: Mayowa, KJ Wright, Penny Hart, Freddie Swain and Alton Robinson. (Bob Condotta on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Carson was running on the sideline during practice today. It's tough to judge who is going to be active on Sunday. If Carson is active he would likely be the only viable play. If he's inactive, then any one of Hyde, DeeJay Dallas or Travis Homer could be viable. Fantasy owners wanting to play a piece of the Seattle backfield will need to keep track of news on Sunday morning.

| Chris Carson, Carlos Hyde out for Week 9 DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer expected to carry the load By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 6, 6:00 pm

| | Chris Carson is one of six players the team officially declared out, all of whom are starters or key backups. The others are running back Carlos Hyde (hamstring), cornerbacks Shaquill Griffin and Ugo Amadi (each hamstrings), defensive end Benson Mayowa (ankle) and left guard Mike Iupati (back). (Seattle Times)
FFToday's Take: Carson is dealing with a mid-foot sprain and could be available next week. In the meantime, rookie DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer will receive the majority of snaps at the running back position for Seattle. Homer was limited in last week's game with a knee injury. Alex Collins was signed to the practice squad this week and could be called up on Saturday.

| Chris Carson remains a gametime decision Foot injury By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 1, 7:00 am

| | Seahawks’ RB Chris Carson, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a foot injury, is expected to test how he feels in pre-game warmups, and one source said it is “a true 50-50” chance for him be able to play against the 49ers. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Carson missed practice all week so it's anybody's guess if he'll play or not. With the Seattle - San Francisco game not kicking off until late afternoon fantasy owners will be left in limbo. Carlos Hyde (hamstring) is listed as Doubtful and Travis Homer (knee) is listed as Questionable. DeeJay Dallas could lead the backfield but this is shaping up a situation to avoid.

| Seattle RB situation is a fantasy mess Carson, Hyde, Homer gametime decisions By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 30, 4:15 pm

| | Carroll says Seahawks will go "all the way to gametime'' with RBs Chris Carson, Travis Homer and Carlos Hyde. Playing things pretty close to vest today.... (Bob Condotta on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: For what it's worth, Carson and and Hyde missed practice on Friday. Homer was limited. We could see Homer and rookie DeeJay Dallas split carries on Sunday but we won't know until Inactives come out or we get more insight from beat writers over the weekend. Seattle hosts San Francisco in the late afternoon on Sunday.
