2021 Outlook
Depth Chart
The Packers 2020 draft was a big reason why Aaron Rodgers was so miffed this offseason. On a team primed to win a championship, Green Bay spent their first two draft picks on Jordan Love who didn't see the field, and Dillon, who was essentially the 3rd running back, and contributed 263 total yards and two touchdowns. Health, the existence of Jamaal Williams, and a possible issue with a complicated playbook all conspired to topple Dillon's fantasy prospects. 2021 brings much brighter prospects for the former Boston College Eagle. Williams is gone, and Dillon has had a full offseason to better immerse himself in the offense. He's been talked up by the coaching staff, and despite playing in only 11 games last year, did manage a 5.3 per-carry average on his 46 attempts, which is impressive. If his Week 16 start vs Tennessee was any indication (21-124-2), he has the chops to carry the run game if Jones goes down. With only late round picks Kylin Hill and Dexter Williams behind him on the depth chart, look for Dillion to be a little more than a breather back for Jones. With volume upside, and 5+ touchdown potential, Dillion makes for a great Jones handcuff, or late-round value pick.

Injury Aaron Jones a gametime decision
Knee injury
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 28, 8:13 am

Green Bay Packers
Packers were pleased with Aaron Jones' practice week coming off the sprained MCL, giving him a chance to play vs. Rams, I'm told. True game-time decision. But as @AdamSchefter said, the upcoming bye week looms large. Would give him extra two weeks of game rest. (Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: This is an important playoff seeding game in the NFC with Packers and Rams squaring off in the late afternoon. With the Packers having a bye in Week 13 it wouldn't be a shock to see Jones on the Inactive list today. Fantasy owners of both Jones and AJ Dillon will have to be nimble with their lineups today.

Injury Mild MCL sprain for Aaron Jones
Expected to be out 1-2 weeks
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 15, 9:24 am

Green Bay Packers
MRI revealed that Packers’ RB Aaron Jones has “a mild” MCL sprain and he is expected to be out 1-2 weeks, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: In Jones' absence AJ Dillon saw 21 carries against the Seahawks in Week 11. Patrick Taylor saw limited work (2 carries, 7 yards). Dillon is expected to get the bulk of running back work this week against the Vikings. The Packers have a bye in Week 13.

AJ Dillon angling for more work?
HC regrets giving him only 12 touches in Week 5
By: Doug Orth | Tue Oct 12, 12:20 am

Green Bay Packers
LaFleur said he left the stadium yesterday wishing he had given the ball to RB AJ Dillon more than 12 times. He said his receiving talent has been evident and they feel confident in his skills in that aspect of the game. (Tom Silverstein on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It wasn't too long ago that many mocked Dillon for being a zero in the passing game, primarily relying on his lack of usage as a receiver during his days at Boston College. Aaron Jones will remain the top back in this backfield for the foreseeable future, but Dillon has already flashed his monstrous fantasy upside a time or two and would be an easy top-10 fantasy option if Jones was forced to miss time.
