2020 Outlook
Depth Chart
Shenault is unlikely to make much of an impact in the NFL in the near-term. He was used primarily as a receiver at Colorado, but also lined up as a running back and wildcat quarterback. Early in his career, he will probably be used as a weapon to keep defenses honest, perhaps by coming across the formation in motion, lining up in the backfield, or being sent deep.

If his game develops, he could become a good NFL receiver who plays the majority of snaps, but he seems to need quite a bit of seasoning to be ready for that kind of role. Since the Jaguars have three or four other receivers they like and are capable, they can afford to give him time to learn the offense and get comfortable. He should be avoided in fantasy redraft leagues, and even in dynasty formats he should not be taken too early. Players with his skill set have a hard time panning out in the NFL, though it is certainly not impossible.

Injury Jaguars rule out receivers D.J. Chark, Chris Conley
Laviska Shenault expected to play
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 27, 1:13 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars ruled out WRs D.J. Chark (ribs) and Chris Conley (hip) for Sunday’s game vs. Browns. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Jags will be operating at less than 100 percent against the Browns in Week 12. Mike Glennon will be throwing to the likes of Laviska Shenault and Keelan Cole. Both are flex considerations if you're desperate.

Injury Laviska Shenault out with hamstring injury
Jags down one of their playmakers against Packers

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault (hamstring) will not play Sunday against the Packers. (Michael DiRocco on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Jaguars will be down one of their playmakers against Packers. Minus Shenault, Jacksonville will feature D.J. Chark, Chris Conley and Keelan Cole in three wide receiver sets. Conley posted a 7-52 line on 8 targets last week against the Texans.

Injury D.J. Chark misses practice Thursday
Ankle injury
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 15, 3:26 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
WR D.J. Chark (ankle) missed his second consecutive day of practice on Thursday. (Michael DiRocco on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Chark also missed practice on Wednesday. He seems to be on the wrong side of questionable this week which would leave Laviska Shenault (hamstring), Keelan Cole and Chris Conley the top three wideouts for Gardner Minshew against the Lions in Week 6.

Injury D.J. Chark (ankle) not practicing Wednesday
Jags WR could miss Week 6
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Wed Oct 14, 11:30 am

Jacksonville Jaguars
Ashlyn Sullivan (@ashlynrsullivan) on Twitter: "Dakota Allen, DJ Chark and Tyler Eifert will not practice today. Everyone else on the previous injury report will practice in some form - including Myles Jack, Josh Allen and CJ Henderson." (Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Chark limped off in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss and the missed practice isn't a great development re: his Week 6 status. If he's active he's a WR3 with WR1/2 upside, but we could see Laviska Shenault Jr., Chris Conley and/or Keelan Cole get a few extra targets this week.

Injury D.J. Chark downgraded to Out for Week 3
Chest, Back injury
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Sep 24, 2:03 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
#Jaguars WR D.J. Chark (chest/back) was listed as questionable but he’s now been downgraded to out. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: With Chark out, the Jaguars will focus on Keelan Cole, Chris Conley and Laviska Shenault at receiver. Cole leads the team in targets (12) after two weeks with Conley and Shenault each with 8.
