Cardinals’ WR Marquise Brown, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a heel injury, is expected to play vs. the Rams, per source. Cardinals’ RB Emari Demercado, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a toe injury, also is expected to play. (Adam Schefter on X) FFToday's Take: Brown missed two practices this week which is cause for concern, however it sounds like he's going to play. The Cardinals No.1 receiver has been a disappointment this season making him a Flex option only in Week 12. Demercado missed last week's game which allowed Tony Jones to operate as the backup running back behind James Conner. Demercado's availability shouldn't affect Conner's value.

Cardinals’ RB James Conner is expected to miss multiple weeks with the knee injury he suffered Sunday vs. the Bengals and he now is a candidate to be placed on injured reserve, per sources. (Adam Schefter on X) FFToday's Take: The Cardinals pickup up Tony Jones off the Saints practice squad yesterday but are very thin at running back headed into their Week 6 game against the Rams. Emari Demercado is likely to get the start and we could see a few more carries for WR Rondale Moore who has 8 rushing attempts on the season. Corey Clement could be elevated from the practice squad.

Saints’ RB Jamaal Williams is expected to need “some time” to recover from his hamstring injury, per HC Dennis Allen. (ESPN - Adam Schefter) FFToday's Take: New Orleans may be down to Tony Jones Jr. and rookie Kendre Miller for Week 3 against the Packers. Week 4 cannot come soon enough for the Saints, who will get Alvin Kamara back that week for a NFC South showdown with the Bucs. It is possible - albeit unlikely - that Williams may not have much of a role upon his return if Miller shows out against Green Bay. Expect Williams to take a back seat to Kamara but remain in the RB3 conversation once he is healthy again.
