Injury CeeDee Lamb Out for the remainder of the season

Cowboys statement on CeeDee Lamb: “Additional examinations and scans this week on CeeDee Lamb’s shoulder have determined that his injury has now progressed to a point that he will be listed as ‘Out’ for the remaining two games of the season. He will undergo a process of treatment and rehabilitation for his shoulder, is not currently expected to require surgery and is projected to make a full recovery.” (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: Lamb has been battling a shoulder injury for multiple weeks now, often missing playing time whenever he aggravates the injury. The Cowboys passing game is going to take a hit with Brandin Cooks, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin and Ryan Flournoy leading the charge. It will be hard to trust any of them as a Flex option against the Eagles this week.

The Cowboys will be without WR Brandin Cooks for at least this week vs. Pittsburgh and potentially longer after an infection developed in his right knee following a procedure he had after remaining in NY following the win against the Giants, according to multiple sources. (Todd Archer on X)

FFToday's Take: Cooks' best game this season came back in Week 1 when he posted a 4-40-1 line. Since then he hasn't topped 19 receiving yards in a game. In his absence, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin should see more action at wide receiver.
