They are certainly developing some quality NFL receiving talent over there at USC. Addison joins fellow Trojans Drake London, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Michael Pittman Jr., and Juju Smith-Schuster as players that are surely to be in fantasy starting lineups this season. All of those aforementioned players came into the NFL ready to ball, and contributed right away. In what was widely considered a deep position in the draft, Addison was the 4th receiver picked in the first round. While not as physically gifted as the other receivers drafted, Addison makes up for it with superior technical ability and elite production over his collegiate career. Rookie receivers adjust to the NFL game faster than ever, and if Addison can prove to be a quick study and establish chemistry with Cousins, he could overtake Osborne as the 3rd option in this passing game. Add Addison as an upside bench stash that could develop into a reliable WR3.

Vikings acquire QB Joshua Dobbs from Cardinals QB Jaren Hall expected to start this week for MIN By: Mike Krueger | Tue Oct 31, 1:35 pm

| | The #Vikings are trading for #AZCardinals QB Joshua Dobbs, with plenty of starting experience, per me and @TomPelissero. It helps make up for the loss of Kirk Cousins. And gives MIN a chance. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: The Vikings were in the QB trade market after losing Kirk Cousins to an Achilles injury in Week 8. Head coach Kevin O'Connell says that QB Jaren Hall is preparing to start this week but it's possible Dobbs could be ready to play. Dobbs breathes some fantasy life into Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson that otherwise would've been non-existent with Hall commanding the offense.

| Justin Jefferson expected to be placed on IR Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Tue Oct 10, 7:11 am

| | The #Vikings plan to place WR Justin Jefferson on injured reserve because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss to Kansas City, per sources.
The exact timeline is TBD based on how he responds to treatment. But Jefferson is out at least four games. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Ouch. The Vikings offense is based around Jefferson so they'll have to make-do without their best offensive weapon. Brandon Powell saw a 30.6% snap share against the Chiefs last week and will likely see more playing time moving forward. However, Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn and TE T.J. Hockenson are likely to be the top targets for Kirk Cousins while Jefferson is out.

| Justin Jefferson suffers hamstring injury in Week 5 WR still undergoing tests By: Doug Orth | Mon Oct 9, 3:20 pm

| | Kevin O'Connell is saying that Justin Jefferson is still going through tests on the hamstring. Said Jefferson is "down" today given his competitiveness and that the team will have to make sure it protects him "from himself." (ESPN.com - Kevin Seifert)
FFToday's Take: With O'Connell already invoking the "protecting him from himself" coachspeak, fantasy managers should prepare for Jefferson to miss at least one game and as many as three if it is a mild strain. For what it is worth, Jefferson has yet to miss a game in his four-year career. If Jefferson is forced to sit in Week 6 against the Bears, expect Jordan Addison to perform at a high-end WR2 level and K.J. Osborn to be worth starting in fantasy. T.J. Hockenson could also be more of a target hog than he already is.
