Flowers was eclectic last season, and it was evident from his 10-target, nine reception debut in Week 1, that he would be a big part of the offense all season. Flowers tied Jordan Addison among rookies with 108 targets, and just behind Rashee Rice in receptions (77). He was consistently schemed the ball in the short areas of the field where he could take advantage of his speed and quickness to beat zone coverages. As the Ravens enter Year 2 of Monken's offense it remains to be seen whether Flowers's role will expand, or if he will continue to be a zone buster. Mark Andrews is the alpha in the passing game, and with him on the field, red zone scoring opportunities will be few and far between for the 2nd year receiver. The Ravens also seem very interested in reintegrating Rashod Bateman into the offense so there is that to factor in as well. Ultimately Flowers is a dynamic talent playing with one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the league, and while there isn't much room for significant statistical growth, Flowers should settle in as an upside WR2 in Half or PPR leagues.

Zay Flowers misses practice Thursday Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Thu Jan 16, 2:10 pm

| | Pro Bowl WR Zay Flowers is the only Ravens player not practicing Thursday.

FFToday's Take: Flowers missed the Ravens Wildcard game and is in danger of missing their Divisional Round matchup against the Bills. The Ravens used a run-heavy gameplan against the Steelers and could do the same this weekend if Flowers sits. We'll have another update on Flowers after practice on Friday.

| Zay Flowers out for Wildcard Weekend Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Thu Jan 9, 1:02 pm

| | WR Zay Flowers (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Steelers, coach John Harbaugh said. (Jamison Hensley on X)
FFToday's Take: This is a big loss for the Ravens as Flowers led the team in receptions (74) and receiving yards (1059) during the season. Rashod Bateman becomes the de facto No.1 receiver for Lamar Jackson but expect to see a lot of two tight ends on the field with Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Harbaugh also stated that RB Justice Hill will be back for this game.

| Zay Flowers unlikely to play in Wild Card Round WR will be "challenged" to play vs. PIT By: Doug Orth | Mon Jan 6, 3:20 pm

| | Ravens coach John Harbaugh calls WR Zay Flowers "day-to-day" and clarifies that the injury is not season-ending. Sounds like it will be a challenge this week. But after that... possible. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)
FFToday's Take: Early speculation suggests Flowers could be dealing with a Grade 1 LCL sprain, which comes with a recovery timetable of 2-4 weeks. With how poorly the Steelers finished the season, the Ravens should be able to advance without Flowers, but it might be a challenge to keep winning after that without him. Expect Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman to see more work in his absence this weekend.
