Brock Bowers trending towards missing Week 5 Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Sat Oct 4, 3:44 pm

| | #Raiders star TE Brock Bowers is trending toward not playing Sunday against the #Colts, per me and @TomPelissero. Bowers has been battling a knee injury.
While coach Pete Carroll expressed confidence in Bowers being out on the field, his knee didn’t respond. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Once again, Carroll's optimistic outlook for players dealing with injury is off the mark. The Raiders will also be with out Michael Mayer due to a concussion which means Ian Thomas and Albert Okwuegbunam will hold down the position. Neither are a recommended fantasy play.

| Brock Bowers Questionable, expected to play Monday night Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Sat Sep 13, 4:00 pm

| | Raiders officially are listing TE Brock Bowers as questionable for Monday night. Raiders HC Pete Carroll said TE Brock Bowers (knee) practiced today, “looked terrific”, and is expected to play Monday night versus the Chargers. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Bowers missed practice Thursday and Friday and now gets the Questionable tag for Monday night. Carroll is not typically a reliable source when it comes to player availability, so I'd suggest stashing Michael Mayer if you're planning on playing Bowers Monday night against the Chargers.

| Brock Bowers misses practice Thursday Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Thu Sep 11, 4:47 pm

| | #Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) and LB Elandon Roberts (elbow) are not practicing. They are observing the stretch period without a helmet.
Injury report will come out later this afternoon. (Ryan McFadden on X)
FFToday's Take: Bowers banged up his knee which resulted in limited reps in Week 1. The Raiders play Monday night so a missed practice on Thursday in this case isn't cause for alarm. We should get a better feel for his Week 2 availability on Friday and Saturday. Michael Mayer is a potential bench stash for anyone wanting to play Bowers Monday night.

| Brock Bowers dealing with minor knee injury Left Week 1 late and did not return By: Doug Orth | Mon Sep 8, 11:20 pm

| | TE Brock Bowers, who exited Sunday's game with a knee injury and didn't return, is considered day to day, per Carroll. (Around the NFL)
FFToday's Take: Pete Carroll was notorious for downplaying injuries during his time with the Seahawks, so fantasy managers are advised to track the practice reports this week to see if this is one of the times the coach is telling the truth. Michael Mayer finished strong in his absence in the opener and would be a top-15 option at his position if Bowers needs a week to return from this injury.
