A former 5-star, top-10 nationally recruited player, Burden was considered by some analysts to be the best receiver prospect in the draft. Chicago thought highly of him, spending a high 2nd round pick on what wasn't considered a position of need. The eclectic rookie from Missouri joins an absolutely crowded receiver room and will have difficulty finding enough consistent volume to make him a reliable fantasy player. Look for Burden to be deployed near the line of scrimmage, as he profiles most like Amon-Ra St. Brown with his quickness, and hands. His ability to separate from defenders is elite, and I can envision him lining up in the backfield as Ben Jonhson looks to manufacture some touches for the rookie. Overall, I think he's a year or two away from being more than an end of the bench fantasy stash, but stranger things have happened!

Rome Odunze Out for Week 14 Missed practice all week with a foot injury By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 5, 2:27 pm

| | Bears ruled out WR Rome Odunze for Sunday’s game at Green Bay due to a foot injury. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Oduzne missed practice all week with a foot injury and will now sit in Week 14 against the Packers. D.J. Moore, Luther Burden III and TE Colston Loveland could all see an increase in targets. The Bears have been focused on running the ball the last couple weeks and their passing game has been inefficient, so it's likely that the fantasy community will overvalue this spot for the Chicago pass catchers.

| D'Andre Swift ruled Out for Week 9, groin injury Kyle Monangai expected to start By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 31, 2:51 pm

| | D'Andre Swift (groin) has been ruled OUT vs. Cincinnati. It'll be rookie Kyle Monangai's first game as Chicago's lead back.
OUT: Luther Burden III, Roschon Johnson, Dominique Robinson
QUESTIONABLE: Amen Ogbongbemiga (Courtney Cronin on X)
FFToday's Take: Swift missed practice all week so it will be Monangai in a lead back role against the Bengals who represent the best matchup for running backs. The rookie has RB1 upside. Expect Brittain Brown to be elevated from the practice squad.

| Rome Odunze, D.J. Moore limited, D'Andre Swift DNP on Thu Swift dealing with groin issue By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 30, 3:16 pm

| | Bears Thursday injury report
DJ Moore (hip/groin), Rome Odunze (heel), Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) were all upgraded to LIMITED. Luther Burden III (concussion) was DNP for a 2nd straight day.
Tyrique Stevenson (shoulder) was FULL. Good sign for him rejoining the Bears secondary vs. Bengals. Cole Kmet had a 2nd straight day of being limited.
Still no D'Andre Swift (groin), Roschon Johnson (back), Dominique Robinson (ankle). (Courtney Cronin on X)
FFToday's Take: Swift has been dealing with a groin issue for a few weeks now but has typically been limited in practices during the week. The fact that he's missed practice both Wednesday and Thursday is noteworthy. Kyle Monangai would get a huge boost up the fantasy ranks if Swift were to miss this week.
