Giants expected to start Jameis Winston in Week 11 Dart in concussion protocol By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 12, 8:55 am

The New York Giants are expected to start quarterback Jameis Winston against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.
Starter Jaxson Dart is in the concussion protocol as the Giants return to practice Wednesday afternoon and seems unlikely to play, a source said. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Interim head coach Mike Kafka has made his first significant move, elevating Winston ahead of Russell Wilson on the quarterback depth chart. Winston should help the Giants passing game but the matchup this week against the Packers is a negative one. Green Bay has allowed the sixth fewest fantasy points to the quarterback position. As we know, Winston is notorious for turnovers which leaves him in the QB2 conversation this week.

Brian Daboll out as head coach of the Giants 20-40-1 record in 3-plus seasons By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 10, 12:44 pm

BREAKING: The Giants are firing head coach Brian Daboll after Sunday’s loss to the Bears, per sources.
Daboll, who won Coach of the Year in 2022, finishes his New York tenure with a 20-40-1 record in 3+ seasons. (Dianna Russini on X)
FFToday's Take: The Giants are currently 2-8 and have suffered some tough losses in recent weeks including a 33-32 loss to Denver in which the Giants were up 26-8 with six minutes left in the game. To make matters worse, Jaxson Dart is currently in the concussion protocol and may not play in Week 11 against the Packers. OC Mike Kafka will serve as interim head coach.

Darius Slayton set to miss Week 6 Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Wed Oct 8, 9:06 am

| |
No Darius Slayton vs. Eagles. He was limping badly around the locker room yesterday. Turnaround too quick for any real chance.
Expect Lil'Jordan Humphrey to get called up and play a role Thursday night. (Jordan Raanan on X)
FFToday's Take: Slayton left the Giants Week 5 game against the Saints with a hamstring injury and will now miss Week 6 against the Eagles. The Giants are depleted at the wide receiver position which affects the fantasy prospects of quarterback Jaxson Dart. Even if Humphrey jumps into the starting lineup he won't be a recommended fantasy play.

MRI confirms torn ACL for Malik Nabers Giants suffer huge blow to passing game By: Mike Krueger | Mon Sep 29, 11:14 am

| |
An MRI today confirmed that Giants standout WR Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: It's a tough loss for the Giants who have turned to rookie Jaxson Dart at quarterback. Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt should be the top wideouts moving forward. TE Theo Johnson saw increased looks (5) yesterday once Nabers left. Assuming surgery and rehab go well, it's possible for Nabers to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season.

Russell Wilson to the bench, Jaxson Dart to start Week 4 Giants make a change at QB By: Doug Orth | Tue Sep 23, 12:26 pm

| |
A QB change: Giants are planning to start rookie Jaxson Dart on Sunday vs. the Chargers, sources told ESPN. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: We knew this was coming, it was only a question of when. The Giants have started the season 0-3 and Wilson (160-0-2) had a bad showing last week against the Chiefs. Dart will face the Chargers in Week 4 and will likely have Cam Skattebo as his starting running back while Tryone Tracy Jr. is out with a shoulder injury. Dart's rushing ability gives him some fantasy appeal as high-end QB2.
