Rookie Tetairoa McMillan enters the league as Carolina's top target. The big-bodied receiver is expected to help in the ongoing development of Bryce Young while continuing the big play ability he displayed during his years at Arizona. McMillan leads a thin wide receiver room, although it's a nice mixture of youth and experienced vets. If Young continues ascending and McMillan has the kind of debut many are expecting, he could rival the impact Brian Thomas Jr. had in Jacksonville last year. That's McMillan's ceiling.
Of course, we should always be mindful of drafting a player at his ceiling. His current ranking puts him as a WR3/Flex, a position that fits his situation nicely. McMillan's expected target share should help lessen the volatility of his production week after week. That high floor is golden for receivers drafted as WR3s.

Tetairoa McMillan expected to play in Week 10 Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Sat Nov 8, 8:58 pm

| | Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hamstring injury, is expected to play vs. the Saints, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: McMillan popped up on the injury report Friday with a hamstring issue but should be good to go against the Saints. He's scored twice this season -- both times in Week 6 -- and has topped 100 yards just once (Week 2). The Saints represent a neutral matchup against wide receivers.

| Trade: Adam Thielen returns to Minnesota Pick swaps in 2026 and 2027 By: Mike Krueger | Wed Aug 27, 9:46 am

| | Homecoming: Panthers and Vikings are finalizing a trade for WR Adam Thielen to return to Minnesota, sources tell ESPN.
The trade: Vikings get Thielen, a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick.
Panthers get a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick.
Thielen starred for the Vikings from 2013-2022. Now he returns. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: This trade has been in the works the last few days but the two sides were struggling on the terms. The Vikings have some depth issues at receiver with Jordan Addison being suspended the first three games. Thielen is familiar with Kevin O'Connell's offense and it won't be a surprise if he's in the starting lineup Week 1 against the Bears. Carolina will move forward with Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker opposite rookie Tetairoa McMillan.
