After a dismal first six weeks of the season, Brown has bounced
back and become a league winner. The yardage totals (34 total
yards) were dismal on Sunday vs the Bills, he still found the
endzone twice. He’s had double-digit point totals in every
game since Week 7, and gets a Raven defense that doesn’t
scare anyone. With a hair over five receptions a game in his last
six, Brown remains a must start in all formats.
Since returning from his mid-season absence, Irving has touched
the ball 36 times in two games, piling up nearly identical stat
lines. So, while the volume has returned, the efficiency has not.
But with two games under his belt, and the Bucs in do-or-die mode,
look for the offense to flow through Irving this week. The Falcons
are a bottom third run defense, and are playing out the string
for a dead-man walking coach.
If he wasn’t tripped up at the two-yard line last week
against the Titans his final numbers would have looked much better.
But alas, Judkins spent another game getting smashed in the backfield,
averaging less than two yards-per-carry on his 14 totes. Chicago
has relied on a bend but don’t break motto all season, as
a bevy of turnovers have kept them afloat, but they are just one
of four defenses giving up more than five yards-per-carry. If
the Browns can protect the ball, and keep it close, Judkins could
be in line for a big game.
After absolutely feasting on some bad defenses in the first
¾ of the season, Taylor and the Colts have fallen on hard
times. The all-time touchdown scoring pace has slowed considerably,
and Taylor hasn’t reached 100 yards since his Week 10 explosion
against the Falcons. With the quarterback position in shambles,
the Seahawks can focus all of their efforts on continuing to clog
the run lanes. There is no benching Taylor, but he might be a
gut punch that gets you ousted in the fantasy playoffs.
Has there been more wasted talent in the NFL this season? Terrible
QB play, a gruesome O-line, and a bland coaching staff have all
conspired to make Jeanty a fantasy bust in 2025. He hasn’t
topped 50 yards since Week 10, and has only a small handful of
impactful games on the season. Going cross country against a desperate
Philly team isn’t where I need to be in the first week of
the fantasy playoffs.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the way Montgomery plays, and
the contrast of running styles he brings to the offense, but this
game is going to be a track meet with the Lions having to go toe-to-toe
with the Rams offense. A game script like this usually favors
Jahmyr Gibbs and outside of some short yardage touchdown opportunities,
it’s hard to envision Monty being more than a low upside
FLEX.
