The attention is always on Justin Jefferson, and rightly so,
but Addison is not-so-quietly becoming a force. He’s hit double-digits
in six of the last seven games including two 30+ point outings.
He produced more touchdown catches than Jefferson last season
and is just one behind him in 2024 (10-9). This should be a high-scoring
affair (O/U is 57.5) and you will want as many players in this
game as possible. Even Josh Nailor went 5-81-1 last week and could
be an emergency option for Week 18.
In case you haven’t been paying attention, Jameson Williams has
arrived. Amon-Ra St. Brown is a known quantity, and a good one,
but Williams gives opposing defensive coordinators nightmares.
He’s averaging 14.5 FPts/G in his first “real” season and has
single-handedly brought back the hook-and lateral to the NFL.
He’s averaged 25.3 over the past two games. Must start.
It’s easy to forget guys when they are injured early in
the season. Thielen has only played nine games, missing Week 4-11,
but he’s been a very good option. His 14.5 FPts/G is his
best since 2021 and he’s proven to be an elixir for Bryce
Young. Thielen ranks 13th at the position since Week 13 averaging
19.3 FPts/G and faces a Falcons secondary which has allowed a
league-high 21 touchdowns to opposing wideouts.
Jeudy has had a nice resurgence in the second half of the season,
but with DTR at quarterback I have very little faith that he can
finish strong against the Ravens improved pass defense. He was
a volume guy with Jameis Winston and even last weekend saw 18
targets to get to 21.4 fantasy points. The Ravens won’t
allow that and have allowed just one touchdown catch to opposing
wideouts in the last four games.
2) Any Bills receiver @ New England
I’m not sure who will actually be in uniform, but the Pats
pass defense has allowed the second-fewest points to opposing
wideouts since Week 13 (27.3 FPts/G). And Mitch Trubisky will
be the quarterback for most of the afternoon.
Sure, the soon-to-be free agent Cooks is the No.1 wideout on
Dallas with CeeDee Lamb injured, but Washington’s defense
has been pretty good since Week 13. They rank fifth, allowing
28.3 FPts/G to opposing wideouts and just three touchdown catches.
The quarterback play in Dallas has been mediocre, at best, and
it’s more likely that the young Cowboys receivers (Jalen
Tolbert, KaVontae Turpin and Jonathan Mingo) get more of the action
than Cooks.
