1) Aaron Rodgers / Mason Rudolph @ Chicago

The Bears have been very generous to opposing quarterbacks, so why not take advantage? They have allowed 2.1 touchdowns passes per game, 243 passing yards and 24.9 FPts/G. It wasn't Aaron Rodgers' throwing hand which was injured so he could be ready by Sunday, but backup Mason Rudolph is more than capable to replace him for one game. Rudolph was 12-of-16 for 127 yards and a score coming off the bench cold. With more practice he'll be fine as a substitute.

Jacoby Brissett

2) Jacoby Brissett vs. Jacksonville

As a starter, Brissett is averaging 26.5 FPts/G, which if extrapolated for an entire season would have him ranked second to Josh Allen. He's thrown multiple touchdown passes in five consecutive games and the Jaguars (ranked 30th) have allowed 24.4 FPts/G. He's made tight end Trey McBride into a superstar.

3) Jared Goff vs. New York Giants

The good news is that the game will be indoors and in Detroit. No 40 mph wind gusts like Sunday night in Philadelphia and a defense at the opposite end of the spectrum from the Eagles. The Giants have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks (23.8 FPts/G). Goff is averaging 19.7 FPts/G on the road and 23.2 FPts/G at Ford Field. For his career, Goff has a 102.8 QB rating in a dome and a 92.2 rating outdoors.

1) Geno Smith vs. Cleveland

No one wants to start their quarterback against the Browns defense and Myles Garrett (15 sacks including 10 in the last three games), but with so many backups starting and three decent quarterbacks on bye you might have been tempted. Don't do it. The Browns have allowed less than one touchdown pass per game and have racked up 32 sacks as a team while allowing just 16.6 fantasy points.

2) Tyrod Taylor @ Baltimore

On Monday, Head Coach Aaron Glenn announced that Tyrod Taylor would replace starter Justin Fields in Week 12. Fields can be a decent fantasy option when he's running well, but he's supposed to be a quarterback, not a tailback. Taylor is a journeyman, who on occasion can hit the right notes, but this isn't the right place. The Ravens have been much improved since their bye, and since Week 7 are ranked No.2 in fantasy points allowed (14.6 FPts/G). They are not the same team which allowed Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and C.J. Stroud to rack up 30+ fantasy points. Stay away.

3) J.J. McCarthy @ Green Bay

The Packers offense may be struggling with the inconsistent Jordan Love and an injured Josh Jacobs, but their defense has been very good. They are allowing just 17.7 FPts/G on the season and less than 18 points in three consecutive games. Meanwhile, J.J. McCarthy has struggled in consecutive losses to Baltimore and Chicago. He has thrown two touchdown passes against four interception. He won’t get healthy here.
