Tevin Coleman expected to miss time, ankle injury
MRI on Monday
By: Mike Krueger | Sep 9 2019, 1:10 pm

The 49ers are going to be without one of their offseason additions as Tevin Coleman is expected to miss time with an ankle sprain, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports. Coleman missed the second half of Sunday's 31-17 win over the Buccaneers and is scheduled to undergo tests Monday to figure out the severity of the ankle sprain. (SI.com)

FFToday's Take: This sounds like Coleman suffered a high ankle sprain but we won't know for sure until after the MRI. In the meantime, Matt Breida and Raheem Mostert should see the bulk of work in the 49ers backfield with Jeff Wilson likely being called up from the practice squad.
