| Josh Jacobs a gametime decision|
Flew separately to Nashville to due illness
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Sep 25, 9:16 am
|Raiders’ RB Josh Jacobs, who flew separately from the team to Tennessee due to an illness and is listed as questionable for today, will work out in pregame warmups to determine his availability. There is optimism he will be ready to play, but no decision until pregame warmups. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It sounds like Jacobs is leaning towards playing, but if he is ultimately ruled out, the Raiders are likely to go with some king of committee with Brandon Bolden, Zamir White and Ameer Abdullah all taking part.

Illness, listed as Questionable
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Sep 23, 5:24 pm
|Also, while RB Josh Jacobs (illness) is officially QUESTIONABLE, he is not traveling with the #Raiders to Nashville today. Linebacker Denzel Perryman and receiver Hunter Renfrow were both ruled OUT by the Raiders for Sunday's game at the Titans. (Paul Gutierrez on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Jacobs may fly on his own this weekend if the Raiders want him to play but this obviously a situation worth monitoring closely. Jacobs has missed the last two days of practice due to an illness. If Jacobs were to miss, we're likely to see some combo of Brandon Bolden, Ameer Abdullah and rookie Zamir White - none of which can be counted on in fantasy lineups.
|Kenyan Drake's time in Sin City coming to an end|
Ameer Abdullah appears poised to assume passing-down role
By: Doug Orth | Mon Aug 22, 11:30 pm
|The Las Vegas Raiders plan to release veteran running back Kenyan Drake and absorb a $3.6 million salary-cap hit this year and $4.4 million in 2023 as a result.
Drake said in a phone interview with The Associated Press on Monday that general manager Dave Ziegler called him personally to let him know the team was moving on. (NFL Network - Tom Pelissero)|
FFToday's Take: It was a bad sign for Drake's spot on the roster when the Raiders opted to rest Ameer Abdullah and play the 28-year-old over the last two preseason games. Drake's release makes it very likely that Ameer Abdullah will serve in the same passing-down role that Kevin Faulk, Danny Woodhead and James White made famous in New England under former Pats OC (and current Raiders HC) Josh McDaniels. Do not be surprised if Abdullah maintains flex value for what figures to be a very good offense in Las Vegas.
