As a Michigan alum I've seen enough of J.K Dobbins. As a matter of fact, if you live in Ann Arbor just look out the window and you might see the Wolverine defense still running around trying to stop him! I do take heart in the fact that Michigan wasn't the only school that couldn't lay a hand on the former Buckeye, as Dobbins laid waste to the entire NCAA during his junior season. The 301-2003-21 line would have been good enough to win plenty of Heisman Trophies in past years, and it would have been in 2019 if not for that Burrow fella.

Despite joining an embarrassment of riches in the Baltimore backfield, he does give the offense a home run hitter to pair with Jackson. With 4.4 speed and chart topping athleticism, Dobbins is going to instantly push Ingram for significant carries in this offense and it will remain to be seen just how long the vet can hold on. I can easily envision a world where Dobbins becomes the main back by the middle of the year and leads the way to a few fantasy titles. At times last season Ingram lacked the juice to squeeze through the holes in the defense left by the attention on Jackson. Dobbins will not be guilty of this. His speed, vision, and balance allow him to slip through creases and get down the field in a hurry. I'd be surprised if you don't see a 50+ yard touchdown by Dobbins on a read-option by Week 5. Keep in mind, with low pass attempt numbers, and Ingram and Justice Hill being capable 3rd down backs, Dobbins has a serious lid on his receiving numbers, but he's a player worth considering as you move into the 2nd half of your draft. He can be an RB3 even in a time-share, and a RB1 if Ingram were to go down.

Ravens set to release Mark Ingram
Ravens $5 million against the 2021 cap
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Jan 18, 10:00 pm

Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore is releasing veteran RB Mark Ingram on Tuesday, per league sources. The move will save the Ravens $5 million against the 2021 cap and allow Ingram to get an early jump on free agency. Ingram is healthy and believes he has plenty to offer for 2021. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Ingram became a fixture on the Inactive list late in the regular season and in the playoffs as the team moved forward with J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards at running back. At 28 years old, Ingram should have another couple years left in the tank and could be fantasy worthy next season if the lands in the right spot.

Injury Lamar Jackson expected to start on Tuesday
Remains on COVID-19 list for now
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Dec 6, 9:09 am

Baltimore Ravens
Ravens' QB Lamar Jackson is expected to come off Reserve/COVID19 list and start Tuesday vs. the Dallas Cowboys, per sources. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Robert Griffin III (thigh) was injured in the Ravens loss to the Steelers on Wednesday afternoon and put on Injured Reserve. With J.K. Dobbins and Lamar back, the Ravens should be able to put up points on the Dallas defense.

Injury J.K. Dobbins, Mark Ingram eligible to play for Ravens
Baltimore's RBBC back on
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Dec 1, 9:07 am

Baltimore Ravens
J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram had their initial positive tests Nov. 22. Under NFL-NFLPA protocols, there's a mandatory 10-day isolation period. Today is Day 10, so they couldn't have played last Thursday ... or Sunday ... or tonight ... but they are eligible to play tomorrow night. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Ravens will be getting a few of their players off the COVID-19 list for Wednesday afternoon's game with the Steelers including two of their running backs. In other words, the RBBC we've come to know and love in Baltimore is back. All hoping to get bellcow usage from Gus Edwards can stand down.

Ravens-Steelers game moved to Sunday afternoon
7 Ravens players have tested positive in 3 days
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 25, 12:50 pm

Baltimore Ravens
The #Ravens-#Steelers game previously set for Thursday night is being postponed to Sunday afternoon. The first in several weeks. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: According to Rapoport, 7 players have tested positive in 3 days, including Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins. This move will give JuJu Smith-Schuster more team to heal his foot. Evn with the game pushed back to Sunday, it's still likely that Ingram and Dobbins will miss.

Injury Mark Ingram, J.K. Dobbins placed on COVID-19 list
Gus Edwards expected to start
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 23, 2:47 pm

Baltimore Ravens
#Ravens RBs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins have tested positive for COVID-19 and will be placed on the reserve list later today, according to sources. All aboard the Gus Bus for Thursday vs. the #Steelers. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It's looking like Gus Edwards will get the start for the Ravens on a short week. We could also see more of Justice Hill in a backup role. The Steelers represent a terrible matchup on paper but based on volume, Gus will be in the RB2 mix for Week 12.

Injury Mark Ingram misses practice Thursday
Ankle injury
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 29, 2:22 pm

Baltimore Ravens
Ravens moved practice indoors because of rain. ESPN's @jamisonhensley served as pool reporter. Not practicing according to Hensley: RB Mark Ingram (ankle), CB Jimmy Smith (Achilles) and NT Brandon Williams (gets Thursday's off). Marlon Humphrey (illness) returned to practice. (Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Ingram seems to be trending towards missing Week 8 against the Steelers which would leave Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins as the main running back options for the Ravens. The Steelers have given up the fewest fantasy points to running backs through seven weeks.
