Now that most season-long leagues are complete, it is all about
the daily fantasy game. The best part of DFS (NFL style) is there
is still twenty percent of the season to go as you can play DFS
all the way through the playoffs. Like last week, this week will
offer some challenges on which teams and players will give maximum
effort in games that might not mean anything in the standings.
Las Vegas scoring lines for Week 17:
- Detroit (19.75) at Green Bay (27.25)
- Jacksonville (15.25) at Houston (25.25)
- Cincinnati (22) at Pittsburgh (25.5)
- Indianapolis (27) at Tennessee (19.5)
- Cleveland (17) at Baltimore (25.5)
- Buffalo (19.75) at New England (24.25)
- NY Jets (18) at Miami (24)
- Carolina (22) at Atlanta (25.5)
- Chicago (19) at Minnesota (25)
- San Diego (19.5) at Kansas City (22.5)
- Philadelphia (25) at NY Giants (28)
- Dallas (27.25) at Washington (21.75)
- New Orleans (25.25) at Tampa Bay (21.25)
- St. Louis (14) at Seattle (27)
- Arizona (15) at San Francisco (21.5)
- Oakland (16.75) at Denver (30.75)

Salaries: (FanDuel/DraftKings)
Quarterbacks Matt
Ryan (8,800/7,700) Ryan now has four games in a row scoring
the 3 point bonus on DraftKings for exceeding 300 yards passing.
With Julio Jones back at practice on Friday and further on the
mend, look for Ryan to have another good day at home in a game
that determines the NFC South.
Wilson has a remarkable 842 yards rushing
this season.
Russell
Wilson (8,600/7,500) Last week Wilson had his second 300-yard
passing game. His first came against St. Louis back in Week 7.
While St. Louis has been pretty good against opposing QBs, they
were carved apart by Eli Manning at home last week. I would not
expect another 300 yard performance out of Wilson this week but
50 yards rushing will make up for what he lacks in passing yards.
Teddy Bridgewater (7,500/5,900) In his last three games
Bridgewater has thrown for over 300 yards twice and thrown 2 touchdowns
twice. Bridgewater is a solid salary relief value play against
a Bears defense that gives up top 10 points to opposing quarterbacks.
Running Backs
C.J. Anderson (8,300/7,000) Anderson has been racking
up fantasy points in Denvers new run first attack. This
week he gets to face an Oakland defense that is giving up the
third most points to opposing running backs. Do not expect the
same game flow as last week that allowed him to get 8 catches,
but he should see 20 to 25 touches out of the backfield.
Matt Asiata (6,400/5,000) Asiata is coming off his third
multiple touchdown game of the season. In his last four games
he has averaged over 19 touches and in his last two games he has
scored over 20 points in PPR scoring. This week he gets to face
the Bears defense that is giving up top-5 production to opposing
running backs.
Alfred
Morris (6,700/4,600) Morris has much better splits with
Robert Griffin III under center and he has solid career stats
against Dallas. RG3 is listed as questionable so downgrade Morris
is RG3 does not go.
Chris Ivory (5,000/3,600) I would never recommend adding
a Jet skill position player to your cash game lineup, but if you
are looking for a dart through in a tournament, Ivory has a shot.
In the last four games he has averaged over 14 touches per game
so his volume gives him the potential to pay off his near minimum
salary.
Wide Recievers
Kelvin Benjamin (7,400/6,200) Back in Week 11 against
the Falcons, Benjamin posted 9 catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.
The Falcons continue to give up top-10 production to opposing
receivers. Benjamin has a safe floor with a higher ceiling in
a projected shootout to determine the NFC South.
DeSean
Jackson (7,000/5,800) Jackson can be a feast or famine start
dependent upon his big plays. Last week he had two of them allowing
him to cross the 100-yard receiving mark. While Dallas has been
pretty good against opposing wideouts, Jackson should faceoff
against Brandon Carr who gives up plenty of big plays.
Charles Johnson (6,100/4,600) Johnson is yet another
play targeting the Bears defense. In Week 11 against Chicago,
Johnson caught 6 balls for 87 yards. Johnson is my top value play
at his DraftKings salary this week
Doug Baldwin (6,100/4,800) In his first meeting against
St. Louis Baldwin had 7 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown.
This time around he is set up for even more targets as Jermaine
Kearse (hamstring) is out for the game.
Tight Ends
Greg Olsen (6,400/5,600) Despite only having 1
catch on 3 targets last week, Olsen still is second in targets
among tight ends. Atlanta poses a tough match-up for the tight
end position but look for Carolina to find a way to keep Olsen
involved.
Martellus Bennett (5,700/5,300) – Bennett had just 1 catch
for no yards for us last week, however, this week he gets Jay
Cutler back under center. The Vikings are a top-10 defense for
opposing tight ends.
Defenses
Houston (5,400/3,200)
Arizona (5,200/3,100)
Denver (5,200/3,500)
Good luck this week!
