Thrust back into the workhorse role with Jonathan Taylor out with
a thumb injury, the recently forgotten Moss could save a few seasons.
Moss dominated this Titan defense in Week 5, compiling a 23-165-2
rushing line. He should see plenty of volume this week, and should
be fairly rested after touching the ball only 18 times over the
last month.
With KWIII likely out again with an oblique injury, Charbonnet
should carry the mail in a game the Hawks MUST establish the run
in. You beat the Dallas defense and dull the pass rush by pounding
the ball and the UCLA rookie has the physical tools to get it
done. With Walker down, Charbonnet has seen RB1 volume (29 touches
in two weeks), but has yet to find the endzone.
I tried to make this a Zach trifecta, (oh where have you gone
Zach Zenner), but we will have to close out our RB starts with
a Rhamondre. Stevenson has been the lone bright spot in a miserable
season for the two-win Pats. Not only has he seen 82 touches over
his last three games, his efficiency has reached season highs.
He’s gone above 85 rushing yards in three-straight, and gets a
Chargers defense that’s been soft most of the season.
Despite dominating the snap count like few backs in the NFL,
Mixon continues to be nothing more than a low ceiling paperweight
on your fantasy team. He won’t lose you the week, but you
could also just get a fancy looking rock to replace him. He’s
topped 50 rushing yards only seven times in 11 games, and a few
receiving scraps are the only thing keeping him in lineups.
As the dumpster fire that has been the Panther season continues
to smolder after the ouster of several offensive coaches, Sanders
could find himself back on the bench. A colossal free agent bust,
look for the interim coaches to ignore salary and get the best
players on the field. Sanders shouldn’t be one of yours.
I’d like to play into the revenge narrative as Conner returns
to Pittsburgh for the first time since leaving the Steelers, but
with playoff lives on the line I can’t trust him as anything
more than a FLEX at best. The Cardinal offense is banged up and
the Steelers haven’t allowed a back to top 80-yards since
Week 4. Connor himself has done next to nothing since Week 3.
