Kupp hasn’t shown up in about a month (11.1 FPts/G), but if you
are still in your fantasy championship he could bring you a ring.
He and Robert Woods should thrive against the 32nd-ranked Seattle
pass defense. He’s caught a touchdown pass in three of the last
four games against the Seahawks.
Brady has a lot of choices when he’s throwing the ball but since
the Week 13 bye he’s been in sync with Brown. They have combined
for 10 receptions on 12 targets. That’s better than the 9-of-12
for Mike Evans and 6-of-8 with Chris Godwin. Brady will feed his
buddy Brown in this one against the 29th-ranked pass defense.
Jarvis Landry is still the No.1 target for Baker Mayfield, but
Higgins has been getting plenty of opportunities to shine. He’s
seen 24 targets over the past three games and caught 16 for 239
yards and two scores. The Jets have yielded 41.2 FPts/G to opposing
wideouts and Higgins will get his fair share.
In a great matchup to watch, it will be Metcalf lining up against
All-Pro Jalen Ramsey. In their first matchup in mid-November,
they faced each other 71% of the time and Metcalf was held to
two catches for 28 yards on four targets. It was the first game
of quarterback Russell Wilson’s slump which has mostly continued
through the last six games. In season-long league you still have
to start Metcalf because he’s likely your best receiver,
but in daily games you should stay away.
It’s unlikely that Julio Jones will play in this one leaving
Ridley to lead the Falcons’ receiving corps. Unfortunately, that
means the Chiefs will focus their attention on him and limit his
chances to go big in Jones’ absence. Kansas City is the No.2 defense
against opposing wideouts allowing just 30.2 FPts/G. The pass
rush will disrupt Matt Ryan and Tyrann Mathieu will help double
on Ridley. Russell Gage will out-perform Ridley.
Anderson is the deep threat for the Panthers, but won’t
get a chance to show his talents because the Washington pass rush
is too fierce. With no time, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will
look for medium targets to D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel or Mike
Davis out of the backfield. Although Anderson has already eclipsed
a 1,000 yards this season, his 100-yard games all took place in
the first five weeks of the season.
