Tony Pollard

1) Tony Pollard vs. Jacksonville

The Jaguars have been the elixir to help any running back regain their form. They rank 31st, allowing 28.6 FPts/G to opposing backs. Pollard has been good when the Titans have used him. Last weekend he only saw 12 touches as they fell way behind the Commanders. That shouldn’t happen this week against Jacksonville. Pollard is averaging 17.8 FPts/G when seeing at least 20 touches.

2) Kyren Williams vs. Buffalo

Teams don’t pass against the Bills, they run the ball to be successful. Buffalo is 30th against the run, allowing 26.4 FPts/G versus fifth against opposing quarterbacks. Matthew Stafford has a sore ankle making him an easy target for the pass rush, so I’m expecting a large workload for Williams.

3) D’Andre Swift @ San Francisco

The 49ers aren’t the Super Bowl contenders of the past few years. They are vulnerable to the run. D’Andre Swift has been mediocre the past two games because of lack of use. He needs 20 touches and should get it in this game. San Francisco is ranked 28th against opposing RBs, allowing 25.4 FPts/G and 14 rushing touchdowns. Swift is averaging 21.4 fantasy points with at least 20 touches which also takes the pressure off rookie quarterback Caleb Williams.

Grab some Pine

1) Gus Edwards @ Kansas City

The Chiefs have allowed the fewest rushing yards to opposing running backs – just 690 over 12 games (57.5 ypg). Their 14.9 FPts/G ranks No.1 versus opposing running backs. With J.K. Dobbins on the IR, Edwards did nothing with the opportunity to be the main guy, rushing six times for 32 yards and one reception for one yard while sharing what little running the Chargers did with rookie Kimani Vidal. Edwards has no chance to breakout in this game, seek help elsewhere.

2) Chuba Hubbard @ Philadelphia

Chuba Hubbard has been very good this season, but Week 14 is not likely to be a productive one. The Eagles have not allowed a 100-yard rusher all season and just four rushing touchdowns. That should be enough to scare you off Hubbard. Game script also will likely make it tough for any Panthers running game plans. The Eagles are 12.5-point favorites.

3) Kareem Hunt / Isiah Pacheco vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have allowed a league-low three rushing touchdowns this season. When they met in Week 4, a 17-10 Chiefs win, Pacheco was out and Hunt managed 69 rushing yards. Pacheco is back making for a shared situation that likely makes both useless to fantasy owners.
