Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones vs DET

Danny Dimes and the G-men keep chugging along as the little engine that could. In Week 11 they hit the road to face a resurgent and scrappy Lions team on a two-game win streak. The Lions’ defense has shown some improvement since the bye, but looked like little leaguers trying to corral Justin Fields last week. Jones has only gone over 200 yards twice this season, but his rushing gives him a high weekly floor and with another brutal bye week, Jones is a fine fill-in.

Russell Wilson vs LV

Ugh, it literally makes me sick to do this, but that’s just how bad the Raiders have been on defense. Vegas has yielded the 2nd most fantasy points to quarterbacks and even made the ghost of Matt Ryan look competent last week. Wilson has been dreadful most of the year outside a three-touchdown day in Week 4. Wanna guess who the defense was that day?

Aaron Rodgers vs TEN (Thu)

Was Rodgers’s Week 10 performance a graybearded phoenix rising from the ashes, or just the Packers catching a suddenly suspect Dallas defense sleeping? The old man can still sling it, and a healthy Christian Watson gives this offense someone who can take the top off the defense. The tundra will be frozen, and a very beatable Tennessee secondary comes to town on Sunday.

Mac Jones vs NYJ

Injuries and underperformance have been an issue for Jones during his sophomore season and a rested and fired up Jet’s defense await. Turnovers have been the real culprit, as Jones has thrown seven interceptions in six games, after tossing only 13 in 17 games last season. The New York defense has put the clamps on opposing passing games, having yet to give up a 300-yard game, and incepting more passes than they’ve allowed touchdowns.

Taylor Heinicke @ HOU

Heinike has been the lifeblood of a resurgent Commander team that has won three of their last four games, but Washington is leaning on a stout defense and a bruising run game. Heinike plays with fire in his veins, but he puts the ball in harm's way too often and hasn’t been accurate or efficient enough to warrant serious consideration as a starter.

Jacoby Brissett @ BUF

The Bills defense is going to be one grumpy bunch. After taking yet another gut punch in a head scratching loss to the Vikings, Buffalo needs to win this game desperately. Brissett has played surprisingly well for most of his time with the Browns, but that time is soon coming to an end with Watson practicing and set to return in Week 13. The long-range forecast could also lean to a very run heavy game plan for Cleveland.
