C.J. Stroud @ JAX

The shifting health of his receivers, combined with dreadful O-line play has led to a year 2 regression for Stroud. But the renewed health of Nico Collins, and the matchup, make Stroud a solid start in the waning weeks of the fantasy regular season. The Jags defense has allowed the most QB fantasy points this year, yielding a league leading 23 touchdowns. Stroud shredded them for 345 yards and two scores in their last matchup.

Justin Herbert @ ATL

Look for Herbert and the Charger passing game to shoulder more of the offensive load with J.K. Dobbins down with a knee injury. The numbers aren’t eye popping, but the former Oregon Duck is looking more and more comfortable in this offensive scheme. The Falcon defense is nothing special, and seems to be regressing after getting torched by rookie Bo Nix in Week 11.

Matthew Stafford @ NO

The salt and pepper bearded vet is on a bit of a hot streak. Owner of a 12-3 touchdown to interception ratio over the last five games, Stafford and the Rams get a game against an overmatched Saints defense team coming off a bye. With an implied point total of 26, there should be plenty of opportunities for Stafford and the passing game to rack up fantasy points in this one.

Tua Tagovailoa @ GB (THU)

It’s no secret this Dolphin offense doesn’t function well in the cold, especially their QB, who’s play matches the temperature when the mercury dips below 40. He’s 0-8 in games played in those conditions, and while that simply might be anecdotal, I’m not too giddy to tempt fate in Lambeau on Thursday night.

Jordan Love vs MIA (THU)

Love, on the other sideline Thursday night, has simply not looked right over the last month. After tossing 15 touchdowns in his first five games, he’s totaled only three in his last five. Even in a drubbing last week against the Niners his decision making was questionable at best. With the Tunda nearly frozen, Jacobs running wild, and a surprisingly staunch Dolphin secondary, I’m fading Love this week.

Kirk Cousins vs LAC

Outside of two monster, four-touchdown games in Weeks 5 and 8, Cousins has basically been unstartable. The offense has looked terrible for two straight weeks, and unless miracles happened during the bye, rebounding against a strong Charger defense isn’t a recipe for success.
