With Garret Wilson on the shelf, and Justin Fields being shell
shocked after last week’s performance in London, Hall might
be the only fantasy asset worth starting this week for the Jets.
With the backfield all to himself the last several weeks, Hall
has been a workhorse, piling up 59 touches over his last three
games. That’s the most in a three-game span since the end
of the 2023 season. The Panthers have been a top-10 rush defense,
but on volume alone you have to get Hall in your lineup.
After a meteoric ascension the last month, Sunday’s game against
the Steelers was a dud. The 36 rushing yards was a season low, as
the Browns threw the ball over 50 times! Horrible game plans aside,
Judkins gets a ripe matchup against a Dolphins defense that’s floating
upside down in the water. They’ve yielded a league worst 168 rushing
yards a game, and are on the verge of a full-scale organizational
implosion. With little passing game work, the rookie runner is a
bit volume and touchdown dependent, but that shouldn’t be a problem
this week.
I really thought dynamic rookie RJ Harvey would have taken over
this backfield by now, but Dobbins continues to be the clear alpha
for Denver. He’s averaging a robust 4.9 yards-per-carry and has
found the endzone in four of six games. With an elite pass rush,
the Giants are a run funneling defense as they sit in the bottom
half of the league in rushing yards allowed. The only way they
lose at home to the Giants is turnovers, so look for a run-based,
game grinding gameplan.

Cardinals RBs vs GB
Down to their 4th and 5th opinions in Michael
Carter and Zonovan
Knight, this backfield has become a mess. None of the healthy
bodies are starting caliber talents, and thus no one guy is a clear
fantasy asset. To make matters worse, they host the Packers and
their league leading rush defense. Until Trey Benson returns, this
is a messy situation to avoid entirely.
Locked in as the early down, close-game back, Nick Chubb has shown
blips of life at points this season. He’s held off rookie Woody
Marks, and retains the RB1 title for now. Unfortunately, that hasn’t
translated into much production. His 61 yards in Week 5 was a season
high, and most of his value is tied into the two touchdowns he’s
scored. Facing the Seahawks No.2 rush defense once again makes him
a low floor, touchdown-dependent option.
Seahawks RBs vs HOU
This two-headed monster of a backfield might be the biggest fantasy
pain in the league. Kenneth
Walker has been his dynamic self, but has seen his snap percentage
drop of the last three games. Perhaps in an effort to keep him
healthy, the coaching staff has created a near 50-50 carry split
between Walker and Zach
Charbonnet. Neither guy has seen many passing game opportunities,
and Charbs continues to be wildly inefficient, making it hard
to start him, even as a FLEX. Walker is always worth a start due
to his homerun potential, but there isn’t much to count on from
either guy.
