Pacheco (3-7-0, 1-5-0) more than doubled Hunt's snap count
in this game which was a shift from the norm. It didn't matter
though as the Chiefs offense had 1 first down in the first half.
That tells you all you need to know about their performance. Mahomes
led the rushing “attack” with 4 attempts and 25 yards. When Perine
has a higher snap share than Hunt, you know the game went south.
Worthy (8 tgts) caught a 50-yard TD late in the game, otherwise
the Chiefs struggled under the pressure of the Eagles’ front four.
Mahomes had two costly interceptions, one that was returned for
TD by DB Cooper DeJean. Hopkins (5 tgts) had a bad drop in the
first half.
TE Travis Kelce: 53 snaps (94.6%), 18.8% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 18 snaps (32.1%), 3.1% tgt share
Kelce (6 tgts) was a non-factor. His 39 yards was second
on the team behind Worthy (157).
Hurts (17/22, 221-2-1, 11-72-1) was deserving of the MVP,
accurately making throws when needed and he was a force on the
ground. Both Brown (3-43-1) and Smith (4-69-1) had just 5 targets,
but that’s all that was required.
