Predicted Score: Texans 21, Dolphins 20
Miami: "The truth is, we're not a good team right now," said Miami linebacker Joey Porter. You can say that again. The Dolphins defense, which has been there strength, has folded like a cheap tent in 2007 and while Ronnie Brown has enjoyed some recent success it hasn't been enough to overcome Washington, Dallas, N.Y. Jets, or Oakland. The Dolphins will give it the ole' college try once again but will likely find a similar result unless Trent Green stops throwing to the other team (league high 7 INTs) and/or the Dolphins defense awakes from its slumber.
- Start: WR Chris Chambers
- Consider: RB Ronnie Brown, QB Trent Green, TE David Martin, K Jay Feeley
- Sit: RB Jesse Chatman
Texans: Miami is sporting the worst run defense in the league, giving up 199 yards per game, which is good news for the Texans and Ron Dayne/Ahman Green owners. Green has been M.I.A. with a knee injury but is practicing this week and could return. Either back should have success and wide receiver Andre Davis has helped to solidify the passing game (5-117, 1 TD last week) while Andre Johnson mends on the sidelines. Even without Johnson, quarterback Matt Schaub has been solid, completing over 70% of his passes and is currently the 10th ranked fantasy QB (18.2 FPts/game).
- Start: RB Ron Dayne, WR Andre Davis
- Consider: QB Matt Schaub, RB Ahman Green (inj), TE Owen Daniels
- Sit: WR Andre Johnson WR Jacoby Jones
