Cook (16 touches) was an efficiency monster all season and
that didn’t change on Sunday. He averaged 6.5 yards per carry
and 16.3 yards per reception against the Chiefs. Josh Allen had
11 carries for 39 yards.
It’s clear the Chiefs are leaning on Hunt (18 touches) as
their lead back. Pacheco (7) doesn’t appear fully recovered from
his leg injury earlier in the year.
Worthy has become the top weapon in the Chiefs offense though
the targets and touches are spread around so much that ceiling
performances aren’t likely in any given week. Hopkins (2 tgts)
continues to have a diminished role, playing behind JuJu (3 tgts)
in this game.
Barkley’s unreal season continued in the NFC Championship
game against Washington. He averaged 7.8 yards per carry and found
the endzone three times. Even Shipley (4-77-1) got in on the fun
late in the game.
The running game never got going for Washington as they couldn’t
keep pace with Barkley and the Eagles offense. Robinson (11 touches)
and Ekeler (13 touches) combined for 68 yards.
48 pass attempts from Jayden Daniels as the Commanders trailed
for the entire game. The wideouts were basically a non-factor
outside of McLaurin’s 36-yard slant route TD.
TE Zach Ertz: 63 snaps (79.7%), 34.0% tgt share
TE John Bates: 21 snaps (26.6%), 4.3% tgt share
TE Ben Sinnott: 1 snap (1.3%), 2.1% tgt share
Ertz (16 tgts) led all tight ends this week with a 34% target
share.
