Game Preview

Predicted Score: Colts 30, Texans 10
Texans: Tough blow for the Texans this week as star wideout Andre Johnson will be sidelined with sprained knee. He's arguably their best offensive weapon and will be sorely missed if the Texans are trying to match scores with the Colts offense. Rookie Jacoby Jones will likely start in his place and could be a nice substitute this week if you're hurting for depth. RB Ahman Green is averaging 4.6 yards-per-carry (31 attempts, 144 yards) while the Colts run defense has done a good job bottling up Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bush, Chris Brown, & LenDale White. Something has to give here and in my book its Houston's running game.
- Start: TE Owen Daniels
- Consider: RB Ahman Green, WR Jacoby Jones, QB Matt Schaub, WR Kevin Walter
- Sit: WR Andre Johnson (inj), RB Ron Dayne
Indianapolis: It didn't come a shock that Indianapolis played a tight game last week against Tennessee… that's what they do. And while the Colts and Texans spit their two meeting last year, this game may turn into a laugher by the 4th quarter. Why? Houston played a punchless offense Week 1 (Kansas City) and a mediocre defense (Carolina) in Week 2 jumping out to their quick 2-0 start. The Colts bring playmakers to the table on both sides of the ball and jumping out to a lead might spell death for QB Matt Shaub.as Dwight Freeney has been bottled up through two weeks and is itching to let loose. On offense, one thing you can count on is Peyton Manning. In each of his past three meetings with the Texans, Manning has thrown three touchdowns with no interceptions.
- Start: QB Peyton Manning, RB Joseph Addai, WR Marvin Harrison, WR Reggie Wayne, K Adam Vinatieri
- Consider: TE Dallas Clark (inj)
- Sit: WR Anthony Gonzalez
