Game Preview

Predicted Score: Dolphins 17, Jets 10
Miami: One of these teams will get their first win this week while the other will have a lot of explaining to do. I know it's early but Miami's got too much talent on defense to be ranked 25th overall and 31st against the rush. At some point they'll turn it around and this week looks just as good as any. The Jets look anemic running the ball and will likely have a gimpy Chad Pennington starting at quarterback. I would expect at least 4 sacks from the Dolphins defense this week in a game that may set offensive football back 20 years. RB Jesse Chatman continues to cut into Ronnie Brown's playing time leaving Brown a borderline #2 fantasy play.
- Start: WR Chris Chambers, Miami D/ST
- Consider: RB Ronnie Brown, QB Trent Green, TE David Martin, K Jay Feeley
- Sit: RB Jesse Chatman
New York Jets: New York is off to a 0-2 start after facing New England and Baltimore and would like to get in the win column before going back on the road to Buffalo in Week 4. Jets QB Chad Pennington is nursing an ankle injury but expected to play despite a decent showing from backup Kellen Clemens last week against Baltimore. Pennington is 6-1 as a starter against Miami. RB Thomas Jones has been stuck in mud through two weeks gaining only 109 yards while averaging only 2.9 yds per carry. On the positive side, the Dolphins defense has struggled stopping Clinton Portis and Marion Barber, allowing 3 rushing TDs in the process. Does RB Leon Washington have compromising photos of the Coach Mangini? His four carries and three receptions permanently nails him to your bench.
- Start: WR Laveranues Coles
- Consider: RB Thomas Jones, WR Jerricho Cotchery
- Sit: QB Chad Pennington, RB Leon Washington, TE Chris Baker
