Game Preview

Predicted Score: Broncos 24, Jaguars 13
Jacksonville: The Jaguars had better get their two-headed rushing game going or this could be a long afternoon at Mile-High. Both Champ Bailey and Dre Bly had picks last week as they stake their claim as the best secondary in the NFL. They should have no problem stopping the likes of Dennis Northcutt and Ernest Wilford. Denver has been soft against the run allowing 159 yards to LaMont Jordan just last week given Jack Del Rio a glimmer of hope. But, the Jags lone victory (13-7) over the hapless Falcons doesn't inspire and if it were possible, I would predict David Garrard to throw for negative yardage.
- Start: RB Fred Taylor
- Consider: RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars D/ST
- Sit: QB David Garrard, WR Dennis Northcutt, WR Ernest Wilford, TE Marcedes Lewis WR Matt Jones
Denver: The Broncos have squeaked out last second victories against Detroit and Oakland only scoring 38 points in the process but have had no problem moving the ball up and down the field making them the number one ranked offense… go figure. Travis Henry has averaged 27 touches the first two weeks and remains a number one RB despite his lack of touchdowns. He leads the league with 267 rushing yards. WR Javon Walker is averaging over 100 yds per game and is clearly option number one for Jay Cutler. TE Daniel Graham remains an afterthought with only 4 catches and 33 yards to date.
- Start: QB Jay Cutler, RB Travis Henry, WR Javon Walker, K Jason Elam
- Consider: WR Brandon Marshall, WR Brandon Stokley, TE Daniel Graham
- Sit: TE Tony Scheffler
