Predicted Score: Browns 24, Rams 20
Cleveland: If the Browns are going to get a road win this year, what better place than in St. Louis against the lowly Rams? Running back Jamal Lewis is expected to return after using the bye week to rest his sprained foot. He'll run up against the Rams defense that's given up seven rushing touchdowns but surprisingly hasn't yielded a 100-yd rushing game to date. Derek Anderson has thrown at least two touchdown passes in his last three games… good news for his top targets Braylon Edwards and tight end Kellen Winslow… bad news for the 0-7 Rams.
- Start: WR Braylon Edwards, TE Kellen Winslow
- Consider: RB Jamal Lewis, QB Derek Anderson
- Sit: WR Joe Jurevicius
St. Louis: The return of Marc Bulger last week did nothing for the winless Rams who got steamrolled by the Seahawks 33-6. Bulger committed 5 turnovers (3 INTs, 2 fumbles) without throwing a touchdown as the St. Louis offense continues to resemble something dark brown found in your toilet. Hey, good news though, running back Steven Jackson may join the party of ineptitude this week. He's missed four weeks with a partially torn groin but did practice Wednesday with a no-contact jersey and unless a setback occurs, should be in the lineup on Sunday. Brian Leonard has been working at fullback as a result. Right now, avoid starting any Rams outside of Torry Holt until their offensive line improves.
- Start: WR Torry Holt
- Consider: RB Steven Jackson, QB Marc Bulger, WR Isaac Bruce
- Sit: TE Randy McMichael, K Jeff Wilkins WR Drew Bennett
