Predicted Score: Chargers 30, Texans 13

Houston: The Texans come into this contest banged up at the quarterback postion and without their top wideout. WR Andre Johnson (knee) did practice Wednesday but head coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson will not be active this week against San Diego. Matt Schaub did practice Wednesday but has a number of injuries including a bad back, a sore ankle and a bruised hip, which is most concerning. He'll likely be held out this week giving way to Sage Rosenfels, but monitor practice reports as the week goes on. Ahman Green has been ineffective since returning from a knee injury while Andre Davis, Kevin Walter, and tight end Owen Daniels have been adequate for you lineup. Expect the status quo this week as the Texans battle from behind most of the day.

San Diego: This game may be played at an alternate site due to the fires in the San Diego area but thanks to the weather it appears the Chargers will remain at home and the game will go on as scheduled at Qualcomm stadium. They've been practicing in Arizona this week and will no doubt have a lot on their mind when they take the field Sunday. They should win this game on emotion alone not to mention L.T. has done most of his damage at home this year. The Chargers received an upgrade to their wide receiving corps, acquiring Chris Chambers in a trade over their bye week. It remains to be seen how much he will play but look for him to crack the starting lineup soon. Remember, he will be the third option behind Tomlinson and Gates so even at his highest value will only be a spot starter for your fantasy team.
