Predicted Score: Redskins 24, Cardinals 13
Washington: The Redskins are down to six healthy offensive linemen this week after suffering two injuries to OT Todd Wade, C Casey Rabach, and Stephon Heyer. They'll try and piece together a line for Clinton Portis this week who seems to be hovering around the 80-90 yards per week but hasn't scored since Week 3. Quarterback Jason Campbell has been consistent but doesn't light up the scoreboard averaging 218 yds and 1 score the last three weeks. With the Cardinals QB position in flux, this one should be an easy call, not to mention the Redskins have beaten the Cardinals five straight times.
- Start: RB Clinton Portis, TE Chris Cooley, WR Santana Moss, Redskins D/ST
- Consider: WR Antwaan Randle El, RB Ladell Betts, QB Jason Campbell
- Sit: N/A
Arizona: The Cardinals may be down to their 3rd quarterback Sunday thanks to the torn ligament in the left elbow of Kurt Warner. Warner has been limited in practice but has yet to be ruled out. I'll give the Cardinals a fighting chance if he plays, but if Tim Rattay starts under center, this one could be ugly. The Redskins boast the 3rd ranked defense in the league allowing only 2 passing touchdowns all season. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin is expected to return from a bad hip but expect minimal success from him and the rest Cardinals passing game this week.
- Start: RB Edgerrin James, WR Larry Fitzgerald
- Consider: N/A
- Sit: WR Anquan Boldin QB Kurt Warner/Tim Rattay, WR Bryant Johnson, TE Leonard Pope
