Predicted Score: Giants 27, Dolphins 7
New York Giants: On paper this game is a complete mismatch but the added factor of playing in London (Wembley Stadium) brings an interesting twist that may help the Dolphins cause. Do you think the NFL wants to showcase a blowout? I'm not saying the fix is in but the league certainly would like a nice showing for their international community. However, they probably won't get it. The Giants have got their running game going with a gimpy Brandon Jacobs and Eli Manning will be facing a defense that's given up a league high 15 passing touchdowns. Burress, Jacobs, and Manning are all good plays here in a classic mismatch.
- Start: QB Eli Manning, WR Plaxico Burress, TE Jeremy Shockey, RB Brandon Jacobs
- Consider: WR Amani Toomer, Giants D/ST
- Sit: RB Derrick Ward WR Steve Smith
Miami: Which is more likely to happen… the Patriots going 16-0 or the Dolphins ending up 0-16? If you said the latter you would be correct. Miami has suffered another major blow losing running back Ronnie Brown for the season with a torn ACL. Brown was leading the league in yards from scrimmage (991) and the only bright spot on the team. Jesse Chatman will become the starter with Patrick Cobbs/Lorenzo Booker playing in a backup role. More good news, LB Zach Thomas might not make the trip to because he was in a minor car accident after last Sunday's game. Perhaps the Dolphins should forfeit this game and save both teams the logistical trouble of traveling across the pond.
- Start: RB Jesse Chatman
- Consider: QB Cleo Lemon, TE David Martin, WR Marty Booker
- Sit: K Jay Feeley
