Predicted Score: Colts 17, Titans 10
Indianapolis: After a 41-10 butt-kicking of the Saints last week, the reflex is to hand the AFC Championship to Indianapolis and let the rest of the league play for second place. After a game like that, the Titans surely don't have a chance to tame Manning and the high-powered Colts offense… or do they? Tennessee shutdown Jacksonville's rushing game last week and split with the Colts last season in two very close, low-scoring games. I certainly wouldn't sit your #1's (Manning, Addai, Harrison, Wayne) but be aware this game may be as ugly as Calista Flockhart in a bikini. Both defenses looked superb in their initial tests of 2007.
- Start: QB Peyton Manning, RB Joseph Addai, WR Marvin Harrison, WR Reggie Wayne, K Adam Vinatieri
- Consider: TE Dallas Clark
- Sit:WR Anthony Gonzalez
Tennessee: Backup RB Chris Brown looked like the second coming of Eric Dickerson last week rolling up 175 rushing yards against a pretty good Jaguars rush defense (or so we thought). LenDale White had marginal success (66 yds on 19 carries) and remains the starter but has to be looking over his shoulder. Another stellar outing from Brown and subpar performance from White could lead to a flip-flop in roles. One thing we do know, Vince Young (78 yds passing) is not the second coming of Joe Montana. As a result, all Tennessee wide receivers should remain on your bench until further notice.
- Start: TE Bo Scaife,
- Consider: RB LenDale White, RB Chris Brown, Titans D/ST, QB Vince Young
- Sit:WR Brandon Jones, TE Ben Troupe, WR Roydell Williams, WR Eric Moulds
