Game Preview

Predicted Score: Ravens 20, Jets 10
New York Jets: A gutsy performance from QB Chad Pennington may keep him on the sidelines this week. Pennington suffered a high ankle sprain in the third quarter and left the field to a chorus of cheers as backup QB Kellen Clemmens entered the game. Classy.
It may not matter who lines up under center for the Jets this week as the Ravens defense comes calling, which despite the loss, played tough against the Bengals last week. Pedestrian numbers for Thomas Jones and Laveranues Coles should be expected.
- Start: WR Laveranues Coles?
- Consider: RB Thomas Jones, WR Jerricho Cotchery
- Sit:RB Leon Washington, TE Chris Baker
Baltimore: The Ravens have injury concerns of their own. QB Steve McNair left last week's game against Cincinnati with a sore groin and will likely give way to Kyle Boller this week. Yes, a battle of the backup quarterbacks and its only Week 2. Don't be surprised if the Ravens turn to the running game as a result. McGahee looked serviceable last week and provides a bigger threat than Jamal Lewis. Expect a big workload, topping the 100-yd mark with a TD mixed in just for fun. If you're wondering where WR Mark Clayton was last week, join the crowd. He played sparingly as he battles a sprained ankle and toe injury. Look for other option until he re-establishes himself in the Ravens passing game.
- Start: RB Willis McGahee, TE Todd Heap
- Consider: QB Kyle Boller, WR Derrick Mason, WR Demetrius Williams
- Sit:WR Mark Clayton
