Predicted Score: Dolphins 23, Raiders 20
Oakland: Running back LaMont Jordan has made fantasy owners very happy this season, playing like a number one fantasy back while tried and true names like Johnson, Jackson, and Gore are giving owners fits. Jordan has benefited by facing three soft defenses and now faces a Miami team that strangely isn't playing up to their abilities. He's averaged 27 carries the last two weeks and expect more of the same as it appears Daunte Culpepper will make his first start with Josh McCown gimping around on fractured big toe. Wide receiver Ronald Curry is the only fantasy play worth considering in the Raiders passing game but has only 5 receptions the last two games.
- Start: RB LaMont Jordan, WR Ronald Curry
- Consider: WR Jerry Porter, TE Zach Miller, QB Daunte Culpepper
- Sit: QB Josh McCown (inj) WR Travis Taylor
Miami: Head coach Cam Cameron stated that running back Ronnie Brown would get extensive work last week against the Jets and did her ever. Brown finish second behind Brian Westbrook with 39.1 fantasy points… that's 211 total yards and 3 TDs if you're scoring at home. The Dolphins offense has looked respectable through 3 weeks making Trent Green and wide receiver Chris Chambers decent options. Both could be in for a nice afternoon against a Raiders defense that's weak against the pass. TE David Martin is battling a toe injury and expected to play but should remain out of your fantasy lineup. A couple of evenly matched teams with the Raiders traveling cross-country; we'll give a slight advantage to the fish at home.
- Start: RB Ronnie Brown, WR Chris Chambers
- Consider: QB Trent Green, K Jay Feeley, WR Marty Booker
- Sit: TE David Martin, RB Jesse Chatman
