Game Preview - Week 4: Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants

New York Giants: Wide Receiver Plaxico Burress met with a specialist this week as he continues to be bothered by a sprained ankle."The best prescription for this injury is rest, and as a result, Plaxico's practice time for the immediate future will be limited," Barnes said. "For the time being, we will continue to evaluate Plaxico's injury on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis." Not good news for Burress owners as this will likely hamper him for some time and could easily be re-aggravated during a game. Burress will likely start this week but play him at your own risk. Running back Derrick Ward has also been limited in practice but expected to play Sunday. The Giants have won 3 out of the last four against Philadelpia.

Philadelphia: I didn't like the uniforms either but I sure liked Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook posting all-star numbers for my fantasy team last week! Thanks guys. Too bad the Eagles don't face the Lions pass defense every game but some scores can be had against a Giants secondary that allowed 7 combined TDs to Romo and Favre and should have been hit with a Santana Moss bomb last week that Jason Campbell air-mailed by ten yards. The key to this game is Brian Westbrook (abdominal strain). He's the catalyst for McNabb and the entire Eagles team. If he doesn't play, The Giants should win a laugher; if he goes, then we've got ourselves a game that in reality is too close to call.
