My off-season PPR dynasty rankings gaze into the future with a two-year emphasis. As the season begins, a more narrow approach to the rankings will occur as we try to win a championship. Positional dynamics play an important factor. We know that running backs tend to have shorter careers while top flight quarterbacks can stick in the league for 10-plus seasons.

Other considerations include age, contract situation, durability, consistency, supporting cast and more.

COMMENTS
Bijan Robinson, ATL: Increased his touch count by 92 last season.

Jahmyr Gibbs, DET: Only Saquon topped Gibbs in fantasy points per game.

Breece Hall, NYJ: Took a step back in 2024. Still just 23 years old.

De'Von Achane, MIA: Efficiency wasn't there in 2024 but led all RBs in receptions.

Kyren Williams, LAR: Workhorse role when healthy.

Saquon Barkley, PHI: 2000-yard rushing season in 2024. 345 attempts.

Jonathan Taylor, IND: Last time he played a full season was 2021.

James Cook, BUF: Explosive. Ran hot on TDs (18) in 2024.

Bucky Irving, TB: Took over starting role midway through 2024.

Kenneth Walker, SEA: Lead back when healthy but loses work to Charbonnet.

Chase Brown, CIN: Never came off the field after Moss went down.

Chuba Hubbard, CAR: Contract extension in early November. Lead back status secure.

Josh Jacobs, GB: Workhorse role during first season in GB.

Joe Mixon, HOU: The lead-back for a rising Texans' offense.

Christian McCaffrey, SF: Just 4 games played in 2024.

Derrick Henry, BAL: Monster 2024 season. Age is the only issue.

Tyrone Tracy Jr., NYG: Lead back but offense needs a viable QB.

Brian Robinson Jr., WAS: More of a RB2 especially with Daniels' rushing ability.

Tyjae Spears, TEN: Shares workload with Pollard. Two ACL injuries.

David Montgomery, DET: Playing second fiddle to Gibbs, but still a viable high-end RB2.

Tony Pollard, TEN: Will have a hard time breaking out of RB2 value with Spears around.

Blake Corum, LAR: McVay favors Kyren. Nice upside if Kyren goes down.

Trey Benson, ARI: Waiting his turn behind Conner.

James Conner, ARI: Volume hog when healthy. Contract extension late in 2024.

Tank Bigsby, JAC: Took a step forward in 2024. New offensive regime incoming.

Alvin Kamara, NO: Heading into age 30 season.

D'Andre Swift, CHI: Low-end RB2 could get a boost with Ben Johnson as HC.

Travis Etienne, JAC: Down year in 2024. New offensive regime in 2025.

Rhamondre Stevenson, NE: Needs offense to improve in order to be a more reliable fantasy asset.

Jonathon Brooks, CAR: Yet another ACL injury. Not likely to have a big impact in 2025.

Aaron Jones, MIN: 306 touches in 2024. Age is becoming a concern.

Isiah Pacheco, KC: Leg injury derailed his 2024 season.

Isaac Guerendo, SF: Battling for No.2 job behind McCaffrey.

J.K. Dobbins, LAC: Free agent in 2025.

Rico Dowdle, DAL: Emerged as the lead back in 2024.

Ray Davis, BUF: Competing for touches with Ty Johnson.

Braelon Allen, NYJ: Stuck behind Breece Hall.

Najee Harris, PIT: Four-straight 1000-yd seasons. Free agent in 2025.

Zach Charbonnet, SEA: Valuable backup role in Seahawks offense.

Kendre Miller, NO: Having trouble staying on the field.

Roschon Johnson, CHI: Not enough work to have standalone flex value.

Austin Ekeler, WAS: Heading into age 30 season.

MarShawn Lloyd, GB: May be difficult to find a role behind Jacobs.

Rachaad White, TB: Lacks explosiveness as a runner.

Will Shipley, PHI: Likely a committee back even if Barkley gets hurt.

Javonte Williams, DEN: Lost rushing work to other Denver RBs. Free agent in 2025.

Nick Chubb, CLE: Broken foot in 2024. Brutal knee injury in 2023.

Elijah Mitchell, SF: Injuries remain an issue.
