Predicted Score: Patriots 31, Dolphins 10
New England: Does this look like a mismatch on paper or what? Of course, any game the Patriots play looks like a mismatch these days. Are we worried about the loss of running back Sammy Morris (chest) and tight end Ben Watson (ankle) or do you think the Patriots machine will roll right along with Kevin Faulk and Kyle Brady? I wouldn't bet against it. It also might be time for Laurency Maroney to return who was a "gametime decision" last week. Heck, I wouldn't be shocked if they signed Kevan Barlow and he ran for 100 yards this week. Brady, Moss, Welker, Stallworth, they're good… get them in your lineup and watch the Patriots move to 7-0… Boring.
- Start: QB Tom Brady, WR Randy Moss, RB Laurence Maroney
- Consider: WR Wes Welker, TE Ben Watson, Patriots D/ST
- Sit: RB Sammy Morris
Miami: I don't want to say the Dolphins have given up on the season already but I'll say it anyway…. Miami has given up on the 2006 season, and who can blame them? Running back Ronnie Brown remains a bright spot but the team is 0-6; their starting quarterback has been concussed and they've traded away their top receiver, Chris Chambers, to the San Diego Chargers for a 2008 second-round draft choice. From a fantasy standpoint, expect Marty Booker and young receivers Derek Hagan & Ted Ginn to get more looks. From a game standpoint, expect the Dolphins to lose.
- Start: RB Ronnie Brown
- Consider: WR Marty Booker, TE David Martin
- Sit: QB Cleo Lemon, WR Ted Ginn Jr., RB Jesse Chatman, K Jay Feeley
