Predicted Score: Cowboys 31, Vikings 17
Minnesota: What a game last with the Bears, and what a game for the rookie Adrian Peterson who rolled up 224 yards on 20 carries that included touchdowns of 67, 73 and 35 yards…. Wow! What's interesting from a fantasy perspective is Chester Taylor still remains in the mix, getting 22 carries himself last week (only 84 yards) as the Vikings continue to split carries between the two backs. Don't look for that to change anytime soon as Minnesota is also using the rookie on kickoffs and don't wont to overwork him this early in the season. No doubt the Vikes would like to run the ball this week, but Dallas is stingy against the run and will try and force Tarvaris Jackson to beat them. Advantage: Cowboys.
- Start: RB Adrian Peterson
- Consider: RB Chester Taylor, TE Visanthe Shiancoe
- Sit: QB Tarvaris Jackson WR Troy Williamson, WR Bobby Wade, WR Sidney Rice
Dallas: The 'Boys fell from the ranks of the unbeaten last week, losing the almighty Patriots, prompting Patrick Crayton to open his big mouth… Defensively? I can tell you, no, they're not at all. The only time they stopped us is when we had penalties. If that's stopping us, it is what it is. Defensively, they're not the real deal." Apparently your defense isn't the real deal either Patrick, specifically your pass defense which gave up 5 touchdowns to Tom Brady. In any case, the Cowboys do have a good offense and should be able post enough numbers here to cover the Vikings and Tarvaris Jackson who can't pass his way out of a paper sack. - (What the heck does that mean?)
- Start: QB Tony Romo, WR Terrell Owens, TE Jason Witten
- Consider: RB Marion Barber, RB Julius Jones, WR Patrick Crayton, Cowboys D/ST
- Sit: WR Terry Glenn (inj)
