Game Preview

Predicted Score: Seahawks 23, Rams 20
Seattle: Well, somebody has to win this game and since the Rams have yet to put a mark in the win column, I'll take the struggling Seahawks who've been shut out the Steelers then wham-boozled by the hapless Saints over the last two weeks. Bobby Engram took over Deion Branch's flanker position and racked up 9 catches and 120 yards last week while Shaun Alexander continues to struggle, plodding along 3.6 yards at a time. The Hawks have won four straight over St. Louis and appear to have a pulse on offense compared to the Rams, which is the only reason to choose them in a game matching two below average teams.
- Start: QB Matt Hasselbeck, WR Bobby Engram
- Consider: RB Shaun Alexander, Seahawks D/ST, K Josh Brown
- Sit: WR Deion Branch, WR Nate Burleson, TE Marcus Pollard
St. Louis: Uggh. Can this season get over quick enough for the Rams? They've been decimated by injuries and it shows in the win column… zero. There is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel however as quarterback Marc Bulger is expected to return from his broken ribs and wide receiver Isaac Bruce should be on the field after missing last week with a hamstring injury. But will it really matter? Bulger may spend more time on his back than on his feet and Isaac Bruce could easily be hamstrung on the sideline with fellow wide receivers Drew Bennet (hamstring) and Dante Hall (ankle). Torry Holt is your only fantasy option and the Seahawks are your only choice to win this game.
- Start: WR Torry Holt
- Consider: WR Isaac Bruce, QB Marc Bulger, RB Brian Leonard
- Sit: RB Steven Jackson, WR Drew Bennett, TE Randy McMichael, K Jeff Wilkins
