Game Preview
Mike Krueger
Predicted Score: Steelers 31, Browns 27
Pittsburgh: Ben Roethlisberger (20 TDs, 6 INTs) been en fuego the last three weeks throwing 11 touchdowns and he's third in the league in touchdown-to-interception ratio, trailing only Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. As a result the Steelers are flying high sitting at 6-2 ready to take on the Browns in what should be an entertaining game. Roethlisberger injured his hip last week but later returned and is expected to play this week. Santonio Holmes has become an every week starter along with Willie Parker. Hines Ward and even tight end Heath Miller are also good plays from week to week. The Steelers have won 13 of 14 against the Browns and have outscored them 231-94 during an eight-game win streak.
- Start: QB Ben Roethlisberger, RB Willie Parker, WR Hines Ward, WR Santonio Holmes, TE Heath Miller
- Consider: Steelers D/ST, K Jeff Reed
- Sit: WR Cedrick Wilson, WR Nate Washington
Cleveland: Derek Andersons had a letdown last week, if you can call 364 passing yards a letdown, as all four Cleveland TDs went to running back Jamal Lewis. Cleveland has won three in a row for the first time since 2001 and face a tough task taking on the Steelers in Pittsburgh. After his big game, Lewis may be a prime candidate for your bench as the Steelers are number one against the run and have only given up 26 points in four games at home this year. Despite their tough matchup Cleveland will come in with confidence and even though the numbers don't suggest it, I expect them to put some points on the board, just not enough for a win in a hostile environment against a division rival.
- Start: WR Braylon Edwards, TE Kellen Winslow
- Consider: QB Derek Anderson
- Sit: RB Jamal Lewis WR Joe Jurevicius
