Game Preview
Antonio D'Arcangelis
Predicted Score: Bucs 27, Falcons 14
Tampa Bay: After handing the reins to Luke McCown and being shut down against the Texans (a team that's a lot better than anyone gives them credit for), the Bucs will be looking to get back to business with Jeff Garcia under center. While the Bucs won't drop as many on the Falcons as the Saints, they're fully capable of moving the ball effectively against weak defenses and punching it in the end zone.
- Start: QB Jeff Garcia, RB Earnest Graham, WR Joey Galloway,
- Consider: WR Ike Hilliard
- Sit: TE Alex Smith, TE Jerramy Stevens
Atlanta: They just lost their gutless, poor excuse for a head coach to the University of Arkansas, and as Matt Waldman so eloquently described in his open letter, Falcons owner Arthur Blank doesn't really deserve to be stuck with this mayhem. I can't honestly see the Falcons' offensively challenged mishmash moving the ball too well against a Bucs defense that's more than slightly peeved after allowing the Texans to light up the scoreboard. If they score, they'll likely do it through the air.
- Start: WR Roddy White, TE Alge Crumpler
- Consider: WR Michael Jenkins, QB Chris Redman
- Sit: RB Warrick Dunn, RB Jerious Norwood, WR Joe Horn
