Game Preview
Antonio D'Arcangelis
Predicted Score: Colts 35, Raiders 16
Oakland: The Raiders have a lot or work to do before they'll ever be the potent offense the y were during the Rich Gannon Era, which I'm punching myself in the face for acknowledging as I type. But there have been some bright spots in '07, including the emergence of Justin Fargas, who will only see a significant number of opportunities if he plays and the Raiders don't get blown out - which could easily happen. I'm not saying to sit him, but if your lineup comes down to starting a back that's got a decent matchup but isn't quite as hot as Fargas, go with the former.
- Start: K Sebastian Janikowski
- Consider: RB Justin Fargas (ribs), WR Ronald Curry, TE Zach Miller
- Sit: QB Josh McCown WR Jerry Porter, RB LaMont Jordan
Indianapolis: This could get out of hand early, but let's just pretend for a second the Colts approach falls in line with the prevailing fantasy perspective that they'll run the ball and rack up yardage and a couple scores during the first half and stick it to the Raiders secondary in the second. Whatever your opinion on how this game will play out, it's not a wise decision to bench any of your Colts players except the ones that sit the game out.
- Start: QB Peyton Manning, RB Joseph Addai, WR Reggie Wayne, TE Dallas Clark, WR Anthony Gonzalez, K Adam Vinatieri
- Consider: RB Kenton Keith
- Sit: WR Marvin Harrison
