Predicted Score: Cowboys 28, Packers 24
Dallas: A great game to kickoff Week 13 between the two best teams in the NFC. The Cowboys are coming off a snoozer-win against the Jets and can clinch a playoff birth with a victory over the Packers. Quarterback Tony Romo is second in the league with 29 TDs and should have Patrick Crayton back, who missed last week's game due to a sprained ankle. More importantly, Romo may face the Packers secondary without Charles Woodson and although its tough for me to predict, I wouldn't be surprised if Patrck Crayton and not Terrell Owens led the team in receiving as Al Harris should be shadowing Owens at all times. Barber and Jones should have moderate success against a stingy Packers run defense that's only allowed 3 rushing touchdowns all year.
- Start: QB Tony Romo, WR Terrell Owens, TE Jason Witten
- Consider: RB Marion Barber, WR Patrick Crayton
- Sit: Cowboys D/ST, RB Julius Jones, WR Terry Glenn (inj)
Green Bay: The Packers magical ride continues led by Brett Favre who's kept his team in from imploding by throwing only 8 INTs to go with 22 TDs. Last week, Green Bay dominated the Lions before letting them back into the game late, and Favre finished with yet another 300-yd passing game (4 out of the last 5). Greg Jennings and Donald Driver lead the receiving corps and both have a realistic chance to be 1000-yd receivers by season's end. Running back Ryan Grant has 3 100-yd rushing games over his last five but may find tough sledding against the 4th ranked rushing defense. Although both defenses are solid, I do expect a relatively high scoring game and although I'll be rooting for Favre and the Pack, it's tough to ignore the fact that Brett is 0-8 lifetime at Texas Stadium. Take the Cowboys in a close one.
- Start: QB Brett Favre, WR Greg Jennings, WR Donald Driver, TE Donald Lee
- Consider: RB Ryan Grant, K Mason Crosby
- Sit: WR James Jones, Packers D/ST, RB Vernand Morency
