Game Preview
Antonio D'Arcangelis
Predicted Score: Titans 19, Chiefs 17
Tennessee: I want to like the Titans this week, I really do. I think they'll probably squeak out a win, but how can this offense inspire confidence from week to week? I know I'll probably get burned by this, but if there's one offensive starter I think could reach the end zone against the Chiefs, it's Roydell Williams - who's shown flashes of athleticism and consistency in the offense and should be able to put up decent numbers against a defense that got stretched out by Brandon Marshall.
- Start: WR Roydell Williams, Titans D/ST
- Consider: QB Vince Young, WR Justin Gage, RB Chris Brown
- Sit: RB LenDale White, WR Brandon Jones (groin), TE Bo Scaife, TE Ben Troupe
Kansas City: Ugh. There's really nothing to get excited about for the Chiefs right now, from the pitiful offensive line on down. The offensive starters are suffering from the running game's barrage of injuries, and Brodie Croyle's not mature enough to handle the pressure that's been put on the vertical game. I'd look elsewhere in just about any case.
- Start: TE Tony Gonzalez (ankle)
- Consider: WR Dwayne Bowe, RB Kolby Smith (ques)
- Sit: QB Brodie Croyle, WR Eddie Kennison, WR Samie Parker, Larry Johnson (out)
