Usage Notes: Week 5
Volume continues to be a huge concern for the Bears’
wideouts. Only Darnell Mooney (92% of snaps) is worth considering.
Equanimeous St. Brown (64%) and Dante Pettis (61%) are role-fillers.
Brandon Aiyuk (92%) and Deebo Samuel (83%) continue to play
the most snaps for the 49ers. Jauan Jennings (32%) and Ray-Ray McCloud (33%) are filling supporting roles.
Tyquan Thornton saw his first significant action of the season
for the Patriots playing on 57% of the snaps. Jakobi Meyers
(81%) and DeVante Parker (79%) were the top two receivers.
Rookie David Bell (63%) is operating as the third receiver
for the Browns behind Amari Cooper (76%) and Donovan Peoples-Jones
(87%). Only Cooper is fantasy viable.
Corey Davis led all Jets’ receivers with an 86% snap
share. Elijah Moore (58%), Garrett Wilson (44%) and Braxton Berrios (29%) made up the four-man group.
It sounds like Randall Cobb (36%) may miss some time with
an ankle injury. Romeo Doubs (96%) and Allen Lazard (97%)
will continue to play the majority of snaps. Amari Rodgers
(33%) may see more playing time with Cobb out.
The Colts continue to run out a three-man wide receiver group
of Michael Pittman Jr. (99%), Parris Campbell (100%) and Alec Pierce (65%).
Christian Kirk (92%) and Zay Jones (98%) played on two-WR
sets for the Jaguars. Tim Jones (43%) was operating as the
third wide receiver.
Trent Sherfield (67%) was operating as the third receiver
for the Dolphins behind Tyreek Hill (77%) and Jaylen Waddle
Olave and Jarvis
Landry all out, the Saints relied on Tre’Quan
Smith (71%), Marquez
Callaway (75%) and Keith
Kirkwood (71%). Kirkwood injured his ankle in this game.
Demarcus Robinson (76%) and Devin Duvernay (68%) were the
field for the Ravens but this passing game runs through Mark
The Giants receiving wasteland was visited by Wan’Dale
Robinson this week who played on 23% of the snaps. That
number should improve moving forward.
Mike Evans (96%), Chris Godwin (89%) and Russell Gage (76%)
were in their normal roles for the Bucs.
The Steelers are basically using three wide receivers exclusively.
Diontae Johnson (95%), Chase Claypool (86%) and George Pickens
(83%) are the only ones seeing significant snaps.

Marshall Jr. (45%) were the other Carolina wideouts to see
significant targets opposite D.J.
Moore. One of Marshall or Smith are in for a boost with
(52%) sent packing.
Marquise Brown (96%) was injured late in the game which prompted
the Cardinals to make a move for Robbie Anderson. Rondale Moore played on 99% of the snaps. DeAndre Hopkins returns
in Week 7.
Isaiah McKenzie played on 51% of the snaps for the Bills
with rookie Khalil Shakir playing on only 21%.
The Chiefs wide receiver rotation included JuJu Smith-Schuster
(88%), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (82%), Mecole Hardman (45%),
Skyy Moore (30%) and Justin Watson (10%).
The Cowboys are using a three-man rotation of CeeDee Lamb
(93%), Michael Gallup (76%) and Noah Brown (91%).
Courtland Sutton was on the field for every snap with Jerry Jeudy (91%) not far behind. KJ Hamler (57%) fills out the
Cole Kmet played on 93% of the snaps for the Bears. If only
Chicago was throwing the ball at a decent clip.
Cole Turner played on 93% of the snaps for Washington with
Logan Thomas out. John Bates left this game with a hamstring
Kyle Pitts saw a 57% snap share after missing Week 5 with
a hamstring injury. Not the kind of usage you want to see
out of a pre-season top five tight end.
George Kittle played on 98% of the snaps for the 49ers. Caught
in a negative script against the Falcons, Kittle finished
with an 8-83-0 line.
Hunter Henry played on 97% of the snaps for the Patriots
but Jonnu Smith (43%) was back in the mix this week.
David Njoku (80%) continues to dominate snaps for the Browns
with Harrison Bryant (36%) and Pharaoh Brown (27%) seeing
action on a limited basis.
Tyler Conklin (67%) and C.J. Uzomah (78%) have become unplayable
ever since Zach Wilson took over at quarterback.
Robert Tonyan turned in a monster performance (10-90-0) playing
on 63% of the snaps.
Hayden Hurst came into Week 6 with a groin injury but played
on 70% of the snaps for the Bengals.
(22%) left Week 6 with an ankle injury which could mean more
playing time for Juwan
Johnson (78%) in Week 7. Taysom
Hill played on 21% of the snaps.
Daniel Bellinger played on 94% of the snaps for the Giants.
The Bucs split snaps at tight end between Cade Otton (56%)
and Cameron Brate (47%) however, Brate suffered a neck injury
in this game which may give more snaps to Otton moving forward.
With Pat Freiermuth out, Zach Gentry saw a 66% snap share
and posted 1 catch for 4 yards.
Dawson Knox saw an 85% snap share for the Bills against the
Dalton Schultz was Inactive, leading to Jake Ferguson (51%)
and Peyton Hendershot (61%) filling the tight end role for
Rookie Greg Dulcich (71%) made his debut and scored the first
touchdown of the game. If you were holding out hope for Albert Okwuegbunam (0%) you can cut him. He was made inactive.
Everett as a fantasy asset is losing steam. He played on
only 55% of the snaps and lost some targets to Donald
Parham (20%). Tre'
